    My LG salesperson told me the gold plated hdmi would provide a better viewing picture, less noise....but all the reviews I'm now reading say it's a gimmick and these stores push the cables to make more money...you can just buy highs pee hdmi cables much cheaper and get same results. Cable either work or don't...spending more money won't make any difference.
