The HDMI cable is very good, strong, probably is a quality item, however, $30 for a very short HDMI cable is not money well spent.

Only reason not a 5 is length and the rigidity of the wire

I have prior experience as a home theater installer and A/V manager. I purchased two of these cables for a home theater upgrade and within a couple weeks they both went out on me and I had to return them. I’m not entirely sure the cause, but I tend to be fairly delicate with running long runs of wire, still, an HDMI cable should be able to handle basic wear and tear (especially for the cost). The last cable was working fine until I had to unplug it and drop to a lower shelf. That little bit of movement was enough to stop it from working. It’s also worth mentioning that anything beyond 12 feet is really asking for it too, but if they can’t make reliable cables, then they shouldn’t be selling them.

Love it and was simple to use! I was setting up a conference room and this saved me from purchasing another cable.
