Has a "Short"

I eliminated obvious problems such as cross interference between other cables and electrical cords. Still had the problem. I don't recommend this brand.

Didn't need so returned to store for credit

I am not a tech minded person, and do not wish to be, so I took it on advice that I would need this. I chose not to hook up other devices, I was just too confounded over the whole thing. The product was pricey in my opinion, but seemed sturdy. That is about all I know about the whole thing.
