It worked fine at first then after about two weeks my surround system just started shutting down on its own while I was watching TV. I never would have thought a bad HDMI cable could do it but it in fact was the culpret. Bst Buy exchanged the cable for me and has been working fine ever since. Not to say the brand is bad to purchase but like anything theres always a chance of getting a lemon and I happened to on this one

May be fine for basic mounting, but if you want to have your TV come out from the wall you will want 12"
