I haven't compared them directly, but, in terms of picture and sound quality, don't think these are significantly better than what you get from Monoprice. However, I do think these are better in terms of quality and I expect them to last longer.

Plus they look nice too. So far I’ve never had any issues with Rocketfish products. Best Buy prices them good too.
