    Yes, it does what it's supposed to, but I still get a better picture on some broadcasts with good old fashioned component plugs. This cord does carry the surround sound however. Also, you need it to watch 4K.

    Ran this wire in and over the ceiling to a 4k tv from a 3080ti. Never had any issues and or had to sacrifice resolution

    If your a 4k owner - these HDMI are a must have. Keep in mind these are thicker than normal HDMI's.
