Legit 4K Ultra HDMI Cable!

Remember the old joke from the 90's that when you buy Monster cables you are just wasting money compared to the cheap cables that come in the box? Well, times have changed. If you want to take full advantage of cutting edge features like High Frame Rate 4K support on the 2021 Apple TV you need legitimate Ultra HD cables. There are a lot of cheap Chinese made fakes being sold on that famous online retailer's site. Getting 5* reviews via bot farms. I bought one from a company that even passed the HDMI phone app test! I hired an installer to set up my new Samsung SN95B TV and Panasonic UHD Bluray. We tested a 4K Bluray and the colors were way off. Swapped out this Rocketfish cable that was hooked to my Apple TV and voila, the colors were perfect! I trust BestBuy not to sell fakes, hence I feel confident buying Rocketfish (and Audioquest) from BestBuy.

Great for 4K, future-proofing for 8K

They are a good length for what I need. I have this connected to my new LG Nanocell 4K TV and my Amazon Fire 4K. I haven't needed to test the 8K capabilities, and probably won't until upgrade time years from now, but for 4K, all is great.

Very good HDMI cable

However, I was thinking pleasantly surprised of the quality and clarity this cable brings. I had to replace one of my Monster cables and this was a great choice. This is a very good HDMI cable that will future proof my technology needs for a some time to come.

Cable DOES make a difference

When we replaced a generic HDMI cable with the 2.1 certified cable, picture quality seemed to increase and the sound improved. Perhaps just our "self-fulfilling prophecy" but it seemed to make a difference.

I must say that some of my problems disappeared with this cable. Signal loss, sound variations and even picture looked better. Overall happy with this purchase.
