Semi sturdy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is my first experience using optical cable, and I had an unfortunate mishap where my Soundbar fell due to my poor mounting job. The Soundbar held up great except for losing the little door that opens up when you plug in the optical cable. The cable itself came out a little deformed and wasn't easy to get back into the Soundbar input. Not sure which got more damaged, and this was due to user error, but it still works fine, though I prefer the wireless connection with the TV for ease of use.

Good optical cable for connecting 4K to legacy HD
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed this optical cable to send a digital audio signal from my 4K TV to my legacy HD amplifier. Until I replace my amplifier with a 4K version this is a suitable and relatively cheap work around to the problem. One caveat is that either 8 feet is shorter than I think it is, or I'm really terrible at eye-balling the distance between my TV and my audio components. You might want to measure the distance to verify that 8 feet is long enough for your needs. I ended up needing a longer cable.

Didn't notice a difference
