Rocketfish - 8' Digital Optical Audio Cable

My old set was able to use an HDMI cable, but the Best Buy sales person said I would need this cable for the surround sound system with this TV. Since Geek Squad installed it, they explained why this cable was needed to give me the best performance with the system.
