Delicate! Save your money.

We got it to see if we got a better picture, sound quality, etc... there's really no difference but it was expensive and delicate! My husband had trouble plugging it into the TV after we moved our living room around, resulting in the receiving end breaking on the TV. Now we have an optical connector we can't use and are back to HDMI. :-(

My only warning is to make sure you remove the plastic caps and be careful with insertion or you could damage the ports on your equipment.
