It did the job, but coating damaged easy.

Unfortunately, we were careless in moving a heavy object and the outer protective layer was split open rather easily.

Just right for application

Excellent connector for sound setup.

Regarding instructions, the only instructions would be to TAKE THE CLEAR PROTECTOR OFF THE END. That may seem like a very intuitive thing to do, but it took me at least a couple of minutes before it dawned upon my 72 y/o brain to do such.
