    I was deciding between this and a cheaper GE version at Target. Ultimately I went with this one and am very happy with the sound. I coupled it with a monster brand optical cable because I needed a longer cord and the sound is just as good as with the monster cable alone.

    This is the first time I have ever used a digital optical audio cable. I had a small problem with hooking it up but figured it out. The ends of the cable go in a certain way. So pay close attention to detail. The cable seems to work well and I have not had any problems with it.
