    So I bought a new Samsung home theater and was in need of an optical Audio cable o saw many good reviews on this item so I went ahead and purchased it. It is built with good quality and also the sound sounds crisp on my home theater.

    I was looking for help to get sound through my sorround sound/Blu Ray player while watching regular over the air tv and called Best Buy and spoke with a Tech and they pointed me towards this particular cable and it did exactly what I was looking to do.

    this is great for when you have all your devices plugged in to your tv and you have just upgraded to a surround sound system. just this cable from you tv to your a/v receiver and all your devices sound runs through it. a useful product, but a tad pricey.
