I was under the impression that an HDMI cord was the best for video and audio but I was wrong. The HDMI cord gives me the best picture but this optical audio cable gives me the best sound possible.

Optical cable is a great work around for being able to hook a computer up to a new receiver and still get good graphics by hooking your computer straight to your high-def TV.
