Once I cut the expensive cord from satellite TV and switched back to basic cable (and Netflix and Hulu), I still wanted to be able to take advantage of my surround sound. This audio cable solved my problem perfectly, and as an added benefit I can now play N64 games in style as well! 5 stars!

I decided to pull out my old Sony cd changer and connect it to my receiver. I didn't want to install it with regular rca cables so went and purchased these and I must say, there is a pleasant difference in the way the cd changer sounds. I am very pleased with my purchase.

8' cord is pretty much ideal for most connections. Great cord...a little pricey, but works great.

They say digital either works or doesn't and that an expensive cable is no better than a dirt cheap one. Hogwash! Once I replaced my ailing dirt cheap cable with this, there was an immediate difference in sound quality. It sounded crisper and more defined. Highly recommended.

I love the fact that I understand that this will offer me pure digital sound from my gaming console to my DENON AVRX. I would say to all sound connoisseurs grab optical cables like these before the next generation moves us to BLUETOOTH only connections.

Needed an optical cable to connect a new blu ray player to my surround sound system. Works as intended. I can't really tell a difference between digital optical and the old RCA cables. Audiophiles would probably tell you differently, but the output sounds the same to me.

Moved to a new house and needed another cable to hook up some equipment in my new media room. Other ridiculously more expensive cables out there but I've had good luck with Rocketfish products before so thought I'd give these a go and they seem to be working just fine. Other less expensive cables from other manufacturers available on Amazon that work just as well too, but I didn't want to wait for delivery.

I don't tend to buy brand name cables as they all essentially fill the same role provided the build quality is nominal, but Rocketfish is offered at a reasonable price and their quality is satisfactory. This audio cable filled the need in my Home Theater setup.

When I was setting up my soundbar to connect to my tv at home it gave me three options to connect, Aux, Composet(your typical red and white plugs), and optical audio. Well in my home we play video games on our Xbox One and watch all our tv through my Apple TV so to get the best audio I decided to go with an optical audio chord. I wish I had listened to the salesman at the store the first time because I didn't buy this brand first. I honestly don't remember the brand of the first one I bought but when I came home and plugged it in it worked great. But by morning I was on my way back to Best Buy to buy the one the sales accoiciate suggested I buy in the first place, Rocketfish!! Lol!! It has worked beautifully for me every day since. Listen to the sales accouciates!! They're just trying to save you a trip from having to come to back to swap out a product you just bought due to failure.

My sound bar would not work with my new TV, so I ran out to the local Best Buy and they had just what I needed! Saved the day and it was just before Christmas and luckily, they had a few left. i am truly pleased with it. thanks

After the cat chewed through the original cable that came with this, we stopped using the sound bar and just did audio thru the tv - that didn't last long. We finally replaced the cable with the Rocketfish and felt like we upgraded to surround sound!

This cable worked exactly as described. It was easy to hookup between my Marantz receiver and my cable box. Great audio so far. I can't imagine the more expensive cables would sound much better but I haven't tried them. Definitely happy with this one.

The right-length cable for my application at the right price. Used it to connect the audio out from my flat-panel TV to my audio/video receiver so I could stream content on the TV and listen to the sound through my multi-media system.

I made a mistake and didn't change the "Ship To" address to my new address. Turned into a small nightmare, but in the end BB got the cables to me. I haven't used them yet, but they look like very high quality.

Originally didn't purchase due to price but saw it as open item for low price so purchased and replaced other basic cable. Works same as cheaper version but only paid 4$. Better cable for lower price. Win-win

I purchased the digital optical cable to provide a higher quality sound for my surround system. The cable did the job. Now the room is filled with 5 channel stereo and we are listening to a great sound on movie night.

The sound system we bought had a digital optical audio cable with it though we were told at the store that it did not, which is why we bought this one. This one is much better and longer than the one that came with the system.
