Very simple device. Anybody can set up and be up and running in minutes. Has good range, and strong signal. Works exactly as expected. Price point is reasonable.

Range is a little better than advertised when paired with an IPhone 7. Sound via optical is excellent. Small and easy to setup/pair!

I have a fine sound system from my VietNam era days; 4 nice speakers but no bluetooth so I couldn't listen to Spotify with it. This rocketfish connects to the old rca audio-in on the Panasonic receiver and now I'm Spotifying via Bluetooth from my iPhone in high quality stereo. Crank up the volume or keep it low, it is crystal clear stereo either way. I'm usually ~10feet away but I've got ~35feet line of sight from kitchen without the rocketfish dropping bluetooth. The party is on!

This works great and has OKAY range. It allows you to make any device Bluetooth which is fantastic. The only issue is, you have to do one of the following when you're done with it. Physically shut it off, turn off your bluetooth, or forget it. This is mostly if you're using your iPhone. If you don't, your calls/sounds will try to use this device and leave you scratching your head as for where your sound is going. Or you'll accidentally broadcast your calls where you don't want them.

Easy to get set up and is AC powered so no fear of loosing power when charge is depleted. Excellent range and sound quality.

The device works as intended. Only issues is that it don’t have a pair button as per manual you just have to connect once led start blinking. Once it’s connected you cannot connect another device until you disconnect from first device.its kinda of strange . My wonderboom on other hand I can just hit the pair button and it will disconnect from the device it’s connected.audio quality is great .So far its doing its job.They do have a new version of this same receiver.

I purchased this because i have a 2007 BMW 328i that only has an aux input but the sound quality wasn't very good and i wanted something wireless (bluetooth audio). I checked the forums and found this solution. the reviews were great so I went and grabbed the last one my store had. It's been great every since, the sound is phenomenal, it pairs up to my phone so simply and every time i start the car! I'd give it 6 stars if i could!!

Looking for a way to connect Internet audio streaming to my home theater, which has optical inputs, but no capable Internet connect input source. I did have an old Android smart phone that could stream Internet audio from my home WiFi network to its Bluetooth component. The Rocketfish provides this link. It was easy to set-up and pair. Audio quality is good. Certainly better than using the phone speakers, or even a small external BT self-powered speaker. Not sure the optical output helped improve the quality due to the encoding that was used. Device footprint about the size of a credit card.

Very handy to play Bluetooth devices through your home stereo. Great sound and ease of use. Connects without any problems.

The setup was extremely simple and includes all needed cables. The sound quality was good and works up to 10ft away.

Hooked this up to an old pioneer rec in my back yard so we could wirelessly sync our phones to play music, worked great. Also works great if you want to hook directly to phone, ipod, ipad etc. Just unhook the cord from the back of the unit and plug directly into your headphone jack on your device.

Needed a bluetooth option with my older Bose stereo. This did the trick, sounds great and easy to connect.

I have an older receiver that is not Bluetooth enabled. I feared that I would have to spend hundreds to buy a new receiver but then an associate pointed out this little gem. It has the ability to hook up to many different devices. I actually take this with me and use it with multiple older non-Bluetooth devices. Save yourself some money and snag this thing!

The Rocket Bluetooth Music Receiver is one great device! Easy to setup - easy-to-use! Pair's flawlessly with my HP laptop (which incidentally is not Bluetooth enabled so I had to use a transmitter), cellphone and iPod. Highly recommended. I dragged my eldest sister into the 21st century by adding one to her vintage stereo using the included RCA cables. She loves it! She plays her iPhone music list through it.

This little unit saved me a decent amount of money. I already have a really good quality receiver, I was just missing the Bluetooth option. This little thing took care of that problem quick. Works well within the rated distance of about 33 feet. Audio comes in clear. Also love the fact it has the option to connect it via optical cable. Helps get a nice clean sound. Overall great purchase.

This provided such an easy way to utilize our existing whole-house system to stream music from the Internet or other sources. If you have an old iPhone it won't work, but the 6 versions work well. This was a much less expensive alternative to buying an entirely new digital system and accomplished exactly what we wanted. Recommended by a salesperson at the store instead of a sound bar, etc. Simple to set up. All around a great deal.
