    Worth $20... maybe

This device is plugged into a quality Yamaha receiver with home speakers. System works perfectly with other inputs. This device is used to wirelessly connect computer, phones, and other Bluetooth audio devices to Yamaha receiver. Connecting is easy and straightforward. Unfortunately, that's where any quality ends. The audio (this device's only job) skips out ALL the time. Worst part is, it doesn't just quit. It keeps skipping like it's trying to play it. So, you get this super annoying, off beat music throughout the whole house. I haven't had trouble with range and the problem is present within any range. Sometimes, I'll leave my phone sitting RIGHT beside the Bluetooth receiver (which is on top of my audio cabinet, waist height) to help with signal. This doesn't help. Poor quality, look for something else, maybe something that doesn't have fish in the name, because this is a flop.

My teenager loves this bluetooth receiver. She is able to listen to all her online music through her 70s component stereo. Really updates the old technology very easily!!!

First, you can only purchase this particular model at Best Buy. It dose have NFC but it doesn't sync with computers, so if you have a lot of music on your computer and don't have your equipment in one place and you can plug it into the computer and receiver don't bother with it. It syncs easily with my iPhone and the sound quality is decent, however, it does drop the first 10-15 seconds of the first song played and then randomly. Rocketfish does make another one that comes with a usb for wifi so it's a better way to go.

Didn't know what I was looking for. Went to Best Buy and they helped me figure out how to bluetooth music thru a PA system for our new church. Works awesome.

Great added functionality for an older receiver

I used to have an RCA adapter for my ipod to connect to my receiver. That was OK, but you would have to keep going over to the receiver to change playlists, etc. This device works well and adds to the list of devices that can easily be connected (would be tough/impractical to connect my laptop to the receiver with an RCA adapter). The only thing that could be better is the range bluetooth devices can connect with this, but it's not that bad.

Samsung Galaxy S5 and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 both will not stay connected to the unit. Keeps stopping and starting. Will not stay connected. Music keeps stopping. Does not matter how close. Have tried within 1 foot and within 10 feet. Very poor performance.

I've had nothing but problems with this device. it chops off the first few seconds of every track/every audio connection, drops signal if you get more than about 15 feet away, lags behind on occasion & won't make any attempt to catch up, and interrupts other Bluetooth connections elsewhere in my home to attempt to connect to my phone and other devices, only to fail to play back music. it's also made of plastic and has no weight to speak of, so you better anchor it and the cables attached to it or it will easily fall. NFC is the only thing about this device that worked exactly as expected, allowing me to pair seconds after plugging it in. audio quality (when it works) is actually quite good, but i still would not recommend this to anyone; there are cheaper things on the market that are more reliable and consistent. go with something, ANYTHING else.

It serves it's purpose to provide Bluetooth connectivity. The distance range could have been greater, though, but it covers most of my small home well enough.

Enjoy missing the start of your song

This device drops the first two seconds of my songs 100% of the time when either selecting a new song or rewinding to the start of a song. Which I do most of the time. This is a critical flaw so it gets one star. It does work fine once inside of a playlist or album...subsequent songs will not be missing the first two seconds. I've used plenty of other bluetooth devices and this is the first I've exerpienced that does this.

Worked well when connected; however, BT connection dropped frequently even within a few feet and made the user experience terrible.
