Posted .Hello BPVendor, I am sorry to read you had a unpleasant experience with the HDMI Coupler with distorted images. However, the unit only supports 1080p, 120Hz and 10.2 Gbps. The 4k is 2160p.

I move my XBOX ONE around a lot and it is nice to be able to couple the connector in my room when the XBOX is not sitting there. (XBOX ONE can use two HDMI cables. 1 from my cable box into the XBOX and 1 HDMI out to the TV.) So you can see it is lot easier to just couple them together when I move my XBOX
