This connected well and worked as advertised on my outdoor tv.

This is a great little HDMI extender. I needed a longer HDMI cable because the cable is coming out of my wall. This did the job. It seems that it would be built cheaply, but it is actually sort of heavy for it's size. It is small as well so it is easy to hide. It holds the HDMI cables tightly so they stay secured.

Needed this to connect 2 hdmi cables for my surround sound worked perfect

Bought the coupler to move a Firestick away from my TV to limit wifi interference. Works like a charm.

This is perfect if you have multiple HDMI cables but just need one long one. I needed a 12ft. HDMI cable, but only had two 6ft. cables. I found a deal for this coupler, so it only cost me $7. Although even for the full price it works very well... no quality loss what-so-ever.

Worked perfectly to connect two HDMI cables. Saves me from having to buy a longer expensive HDMI cable and then get on a ladder to connect it to receiver 12 feet above.

Simply put I had 2 4' HDMI's and I needed a 6' or longer one. I was not in the market to buy a $60+ cable when I have plenty. So at $20 this thing allowed me to get the length I needed at minimal cost. Quality is great and everything is crystal clear. My only complaint is that this is just a coupler and they are charging a bit more than I think its worth considering what it does. I'm sure the marketers know folks will still buy considering the cost of a new/longer cable is far greater than this product is.

Do note that this product is not necessary unless you have two short cables and are trying to increase their length combined. This product is fantastic if you are a customer looking to combine two shorter cables to reach your intended outcome without having to buy an additional cable. The only drawback is that if you have two HDMI cables of differing qualities (for instance, one Monster cable and one Dynex cable), then the quality will be consistent with that of the lower cable (in this instance, it would be the Dynex cable). As such, my recommendation to ensure the best quality throughout is to have cables of the same brand so as to maintain consistency. So long as you do this, the coupler inevitably couples with ease and gets the job done most efficiently. Related products are HDMI cables. I have ranked them from the best quality--though these cables are pricier--to decent quality, which are cheaper. 1) Monster cables are superior for both durability and quality. Again, you can learn more by reading my review of the item. 3) Dynex cables are the most affordable and offer enough quality to get the job done, but oftentimes can end up getting ruined quite easily. This HDMI coupler does exactly what you need it to do, extend the length of an HDMI cable...But at a high cost. It is a quality built product with a nice metal housing and gold connectors, but I paid more for this coupler than a 6' HDMI cable. Still, cheaper than buying a longer HDMI cable, 50' in my case, so I guess that's why they feel they can justify the price. It seems to be just a pass-through coupler, because it works with my 3D TV, 3D Blu-ray and 3D capable A/V receiver. Get this if you need to extend a long cable run, it's cheaper than a new cable. For short runs, just get a longer cable.

Works as expected but the price is ridiculous. If I could have waited two days, I'd have ordered a different brand that wasn't so expensive.

Works just as described. Nothing to incredible, but it is after all just an HDMI splitter.

Great for connecting 2 HDMI cables to get extra length. I had two 10 ft. cables which were not long enough by themselves. Easy to connect and now I have plenty of length.

Just incase I want to extend the HDMI I could very realible

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the physical product except that you can buy HDMI couplers for $5 to $10 at almost any other big box retailer or big box hardware store. Best Buy charges $30 for this product. I haven't performed any comparison testing on performance, but when you can't find a coupler for a higher price than Best Buy....it may be that they have grossly overshot the sweet spot on pricing.

Unit is very well constructed and works great for what I needed it for. Connections are secure and snap in place. It is well shielded with a heavy metal case. Unfortunately it is very overpriced (as are most HDMI cable products at BB). I had little choice as I needed something in a pinch.
