However, it didn't work as well as advertised. In most cases a single adapter worked, but his multiple adapter did not. Don't know why, but frustrated. Not cheap for something which work seamlessly.

My HDMI cord was tripped over and caused the Mini HDMI connector (the copper part) to be stripped from the adapter. The connector is very delicate. If you purchase this, make sure your laptop is right next to your computer so no one trips over the cord.

There were horizontal red color lines on the display. Connected the adapter with other hdmi devices like the mini hdmi and it worked fine. Looks like the problem was only with the micro hdmi.
