It works exactly as I needed it to work and was fairly easy to install. I was just slightly disappointed that the casing was all plastic instead metal, but it works perfectly for my needs.

I need to switch out the PS4 HDMI occasionally to use PSVR, so this is a problem. The good news is that this products makes it easier to remove and connect the HDMI cable. The bad? It loses connection. Every. Day. When I watch YouTube on my PS4, the audio and sometimes a combination of video/audio will go out. Unplugging it and replugging it seems to fix it for the day, but then it'll act up again. Avoid this.

There is no degrade in video quality, and you don't have to worry about damaging the cables and/or the wall.
