Nice but Expensive
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are definitely better than making open wire connections on the rear of the receiver or at the rear speaker connectors, depending you your equipment set-up. Consider them as in investment to your system and you can get past the price.

Do not buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These connectors don't grab the cable properly resulting in poor connections. I took them back to the store and the Magnolia techs could not get them to work either. Best Buy refused to give me a refund. I purchased $5000 home theater system from BB and they wouldn't refund $50 in connectors that don't work. I won't shop there anymore.

Terrible Design
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these per recommendation in store from the salesman. The compression sleeve inside of the fitting does not clamp down on 16ga speaker wire and the wire just falls out at the slightest tug. S****y design. Going to return them and get the Monster plugs.

Difficult to wire
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This plug requires a plastic collar to secure the wire to the plug. It's a little tricky to connect the wire correctly and I found that it was not as secure because I accidentally pulled the wire out while I was unplugging it from my speakers.

Won't hold the wires in
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These assembled fairly easily with my 16 gage speaker wire. No stripping of the wires is required. They slide onto a center pin. But there is nothing really holding the wire in place. There are two sizes of compression fittings provided that I assume should serve this function. However, as soon as I start to handle the banana plug the wire easily slips out. I suggest you purchase ones with screw or solder connections. I am returning these. Also the package indicates the warranty is one year. The web sites says it is lifetime.

Junk
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have 16 gauge speaker wires, and these plugs kept pulling off of the ends of those wires no matter how I tried to screw them on. Do yourself a favor: spend the extra buck and get banana plugs with screws.

In Store Purchase
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these at a store, a convenience purchase without prior investigation. It was a poor decision. The packaging has little description of just how they're supposed to work, so I took a chance on them. Who will be satisfied fit this type of, "push and pray" connection? Tiny contact point, and nothing more than a small ineffective squeeze collar to keep the wire in place. I purchased two sets, the unopened packaged will go back. I'll likely just solder the opened ones. Poor, poor, design. They're just not for me.

Didn't fit
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Did not work with my 14 awg wire. The clips that are meant for it are too big. And the other ones are too small. I'm using Audioquest X2 wire.

Poor instructions, difficult to install on wires.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Both the store salesman and I could not figure out how to put the banana plugs onto the wires. And both of us have wired many devices before.

Poor Design and Performance
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are the highest priced, poorest performing banana clips I have ever owned. You can get much better ones for about $1-2 a pair.
