I love that it doesnt cover the whole screen, so i could play it while on dock on device rather than on TV

It has to use it's own dedicated charger. To me this was a huge downfall as I now have a spare OEM charger laying around my house that we don't use. The reason I say the charger is terrible is because I can hear it whining from across the room. It has a quite audible buzz coming from it even when it is not charging anything. Other than that, its a dock, it connects our switch to our TV and it was cheap.
