It’s sleek and minimal for the desktop. What didn’t work for me was the high-pitched whir of the Switch fan (or maybe this had an internal fan?) that was constantly running while the switch was on. Second, when the Switch was not being used and just left on the dock, it continued to generate heat, as if it were still running. I just didn’t trust it. I returned and bought the OLED dock from Nintendo. It works as it should, without the fusses.

I hook it up and it displays perfectly. I took my switch off the dock to play in handheld mode then placed it back on the dock later. Since then it won't display on the tv. I tried everything, changing inputs, charging switch 100% before placing on the dock and completely powering down the switch before placing it on the dock. Still won't display anything. I tried the official Nintendo dock and it works perfectly. I am beyond frustrated with the product. As of right now, it feels as if Ipaid for an overpriced switch charger.

Im not sure if it in my head, but the framerate doesnt seem to be as good as from the first party dock

BUT!!… It’s still worth purchasing.

Ironically, the switch still works, and I’m able to charge it with any USB charger

Works great for Switch, tight fit for OLED model

It is mid February, so about 7 weeks of use and, the dock doesn’t charge the switch and doesn’t display the switch on the tv. I am extremely disappointed in this accessory, By purchasing a Rocketfish branded item, I expected more than 7 weeks of use. I have tried multiple HDMI cords on different TVs with no luck. I definitely do not recommend.
