It made an obnoxious buzzing noise when the switch was in it, and make the switch black screen a few times so had to hard resets, it's a newer switch we've never had issues with and eventually we returned this. Found an original dock at a local GameStop, had zero issues with buzzing or with black screen issues and we used the same HDMI cords and everything. Hopefully we just received a defective device.

I've had nothing but trouble with this particular dock - at no point was I able to get sound from my Switch to the TV or sound bar. I tried different cables, I tried different TVs, I tried everything. Finally got around to trying again after a bit and after it didn't work yet again (and caused some weirdness trying to get Switch to re-awaken), I've decided it's just junk. Do not buy.

Tried it again, once I return home and still didn’t work. Since the window to return expired, I was not able to return it. Only possible solution, was to purchase membership, in order to return. Item was defective!!!

Read the instructions again and it stated a may take some time before the picture would come up on the t.v. I left the switch on the dock all day with no luck. I borrowed another dock from a friend to retest my switch and everything worked fine. I ended up returning it.

Best Buy has 15 day return policy and I bought it early for my daughters birthday. She opened it and tried it but didn’t work. Best Buy now stating to work directly with Rocketfish. Best Buy just lost a long time loyal customer!
