But after several uses it “bricked” my Switch and so for obvious reasons, I would NOT recommend this or any other aftermarket charger. Do yourself a favor and invest in a Nintendo product instead. It’s not a question of if it will happen to yours, but when it will happen.

I plugged in my switch and got a really high pitched electrical sound coming out of it. Looking at other reviews people are complaining about it bricking their Switch. Definitely returning this item and will live with moving my stock TV dock between rooms

Becomes a charger after a year

They sat in the same place with no drops or obvious damage...just stopped working. The return period is short and these don't seem to be built to last. I do not recommend this product.

I tested it with multiple HDMI cables and on multiple HDMI ports. My other Switch docks work fine. Wish I’d never wasted my money on this.

Chance to brick a switch

It nearly bricked my switch. If I hadn't flashed it in the first place, I wouldn't have had a backup and be able to get it running again. This is an easy way to turn a $300 console into a paperweight.
