Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the wireless feature, easy setup, and sound quality of the Wireless Subwoofer Transmitter/Receiver Kit. They appreciate the convenience of not having to run wires across the floor and the fact that the sound quality does not suffer from the wireless connection. However, some customers have experienced issues with delay, low volume, connection problems, limited range, and a few have even reported that they could not get it to work at all.

Great when it's just not practical to run wire.

Work pretty good when it's just not practical to run wire. Nothing is going to compare to an actually wired connection but this product does a great job when you can't. Occasionally will drop signal but for the most part performs well.

Beter alternative to 120+ klipsch wa-2

Works, bought as open box which was $45 . Makes it a e relative bargain to the likes of Klipsch's wa-2 @ $129. However it continually drops conections at lower volumes. I have cross over set at 80hz and level at 11 on my Onkyo NR646.

    Works like a champ!

Added a second subwoofer and dreaded running wire in such a way my better half would not notice. Gave this nifty product a try and it worked like champ. Had a problem early on with it losing connection but when I got the reciever off the floor and put it on the same plain as the transmitter the problem was resolved and has never returned. Sound quality is as good to my esrs as the sub that is hard wired. The operating distance from transmitter to the reciever at the sub is about 26' with a large sofa blocking the signal.

    Makes thump sounds

I really wanted this to work. The sound was decent enough but periodically the sub made a thump noise . I researched it and found others have issues with wireless speakers Tried moving the transmitter and receiver around but no change. I read some that when you watch a program that has no lower sub channel active , it goes to sleep and makes a power up kinda thump sound. Really wanted it to work but got tired of the thumps. Ended up using a long sub cable and hid it.

set up is simple, that's about the only nice thing I have to say about this. It doesn't work unless you have your volume turned up to a certain point, which is way too loud. When it does seem to work, there is a noticeable delay. It always loses conection whenever I change to a different source, which gets to be a pain having to re sync it everytime. This thing is way more trouble than it's worth. I would not recommend this product.

I purchased this so I could not have to run wires in my house. Problem was that you have a to have a good receiver to make this device work great. Mine was older and it had too much of going in and out on the sub and would cause it to pop a lot when you would get a larger boom. I like the device itself and it is nice and small and compact and easy to hide behind the sub. I ended up returning and ran the wires in my wall to the sub location. I would recommend this to someone with a newer stereo but mine did not do so great with it.

Mixed feeling. Like to have as many component/ wires not showing so thought this would be a great idea! It works but it intermittently would drop single and I’d hear my subwoofer fire off and restart. I returned my unit and move the subwoofer, but if it was a nessasity it otherwise work well.

Bought my wireless subwoofer transmitter/ receiver one & half months ago started off okay then one day three or four days ago heard the subwoofer going off and on during a movie. Thought it odd so I did some test and just continue to hear it turn off and on when I knew it should be on. The transmitter and receiver showed connection but nothing was coming from the subwoofer. Took the kit back 2 times get new ones to replace the older one but it neither transmitter/receiver worked. I would not buy this product till they figure out the problem. I plugged my subwoofer into the home theater receiver no problems.

When the receiver works it's awesome but after it sits without "sub signal" from the receiver they disconnect. Therefore there are times I miss quality sound during my movies/music.

The units usually come synced right out of the box, but I had to manually sync them. Took all of 1 minute, and they have been perfect since. No complaints here.

This product works well when it stays connected. There are times that it just disconnects, and then reconnects after a little while.

The only wireless solution under a few hundred dollars. Sometimes the wireless connection need to be reconnected. This can be a hassle but if you don't want to spend a few hundred, this may be a good solution.

I bought this to put my sub about 10-15 feet from the receiver. I followed the instructions to a T. I got it to work for a total of maybe 5 seconds combined from the time I hooked it up until I put it back into the bag to return 3 hours later. At one point I had the transmitter and receiver about 6 feet apart with nothing in between them to interfere with reception. It still didn't work. I decided to just run a cable instead.

I had a wired sub connection that needed to be ran down into the walls but the cabke i got was to short so the tech mentioned me getting this device and said it worked great. Only time it would ever work is if you played a bass test on youtube. Movies it would kick on for a few seconds then back off and it always went into sleep mode. Try a wired connection before getting these.
