Sure But...No. Not Really.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sure they work. Sure you can move your subs anywhere in the room. Sure they change from "Red" to "Blue" when connected but every now and then the cause your woofer to thump for no reason when the sound changes. I can do without that. So no thanks.

Wireless is always hard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this so I could not have to run wires in my house. Problem was that you have a to have a good receiver to make this device work great. Mine was older and it had too much of going in and out on the sub and would cause it to pop a lot when you would get a larger boom. I like the device itself and it is nice and small and compact and easy to hide behind the sub. I ended up returning and ran the wires in my wall to the sub location. I would recommend this to someone with a newer stereo but mine did not do so great with it.

Wanted to like it.. But just couldn't
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally set this up on my surround sound unit because I needed it be wireless. We rearranged our living room and the way the wires would have been installed it would have been in the way and people would be tripping over them. This was (what I thought) the solution to my problem. I was thinking this is awesome! Exactly what I was looking for! The set up process was pretty simple and straight forward but shortly after it was set up I cut the volume up on the unit to test this out.. And man, I was disappointed. First, in order for the wireless units to pick up a signal you have to cut the volume way up. This is an issue when you have a need to watch movies at a low volume. Second, when the volume is not turned up, there's a hum coming from the rear speakers and sub. I'm assuming this is the wireless units looking for or picking up a bad signal and passing this through the speakers set up. Needless to say, this is a little annoying. It got so bad that unfortunately I couldn't stand it any longer and just returned the items back. I ended up going with a soundbar. easy set up and cheap. Not my first choice of course because I wanted my own speakers to work and I wanted my sub to blow me away but that didnt seem to work out. This was very disappointing to say the least out of this product, but Best Buy always takes care of me and didnt have any issues returning the items.

Wireless flawed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought my wireless subwoofer transmitter/ receiver one & half months ago started off okay then one day three or four days ago heard the subwoofer going off and on during a movie. Thought it odd so I did some test and just continue to hear it turn off and on when I knew it should be on. The transmitter and receiver showed connection but nothing was coming from the subwoofer. Took the kit back 2 times get new ones to replace the older one but it neither transmitter/receiver worked. I would not buy this product till they figure out the problem. I plugged my subwoofer into the home theater receiver no problems.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It has to be line of sight and even then it went out on me and had to be Paired over and over. Also if you wanna gain your subs up then this isn't for you!

Great idea - wished it worked for me
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I owned the Rocketfish wireless rear speaker kit and loved it. It was rock solid and never had any dropouts. I was hoping I could use this for my sub in my home theater. Initially, I had some sound and after adjusting the gains on my sub I'd lose signal. I thought it was something in my setup but the audio would just stop after a few minutes. I ended up returning the module and running my trusted heavy duty shielded RCA in my new place. Great concept but I couldn't get it to work consistently.

Works well except for the thumping
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This kit works well in terms of getting the subwoofer signal with minimal delay wirelessly. The problem is that it periodically thumps in the middle of playback. It seems that, when a scene is playing that has little or no base, the unit must enter a low power mode. As soon as it gets sufficient bass signal, it wakes back up and thumps before operating normally, which generally sounds very out of place. This is a very repeatable problem.

Popping sounds
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Installation is simple, no issues there. Very useful for a sub crawl. Wireless will introduce a significant delay ( 10s of milliseconds ) and you will need to compensate in your AVR settings if available. Loud poppping sounds. Likely due to either interference in the signal or the subwoofer going to sleep in auto mode. In either case, the product should handle the event more gracefully.

Diagnosis: Patient is Bi-Polar
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After spending some time with this Rocketfish wireless subwoofer transmitter/receiver kit my diagnosis is grim. At greater than casual listening levels this unit works pretty well. I noticed no delay in the signal transmission, even through the wall in my A/V room to the subwoofer sitting 20 feet away. If you are a critical listener, like myself, that is where this thing starts to fail very quickly. Playing music at low volume will not even engage this thing. Turn up the music and little and it becomes schizophrenic, turning off and on as the dynamics of the music change. Only if you play at levels that are inconducive to conversation will this remain active. Movies are very irritating to sit through. Unless there's constant bass content this unit will go into standby mode. When the music or explosions happen suddenly, it pops loudly as it comes out of standby and has a delay of a second or two as it catches up. I can't recommend this product, unless you primarily listen to music primarily at medium levels and up. Otherwise, don't but this.

Didn't Work for me
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Some reviews talk about a popping while watching movies. Yes, it popped and was extremely loud. Took back and purchased a 75' Monster subwoofer cable. The product was very easy to install and may work well for others and I believe it's worth a try.

Doesn't work well
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This kit will cut the signal completely at low volume so you don't get any bass at low volume There was also popping sound being produced by the kit. I have a high end system so these issues are very noticeable and was not acceptable. I had to return the product.

Good For Some, Just Not Me
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The setup was super easy, flexible, and everything needed is included. The downside for me was it's operation... to cut down on feedback the signal goes dead when there is little bass present causing a delay and gradual increase in volume once the bass comes in. For my setup and sound system I noticed this delay and it drives me nuts. I also experienced some cutting out causing loud popping noises periodically, but this is likely due to the concentration of wifi devices in my living room. For most gamers and movie watchers this system would be adequate and was a heck of a lot easier than running 35' of expensive subwoofer cable to setup, but in the end, I settled for the cables.

Too much feedback and signal loss
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The subwoofer had a lot of feedback when hooked up to this device. It also lost the signal frequently.

Frustrating
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I have the rocket fish receivers that work for my normal surround speakers and those work flawlessly. So I purchased the subwoofer kit thinking it would do the same, and the signal comes in and out it is not consistent like the speakers. For the price point I would expect this to work at least 50% of the time. I currently have it disconnected and not using my subwoofer because of the poor quality my sub was receiving and making movie experience frustrating

Wireless will never be as good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I tried this because I didn't want to run my sub cable through the floor to the back of my room. I ended up returning it. It works in the fact that it does what it's supposed to but there was a constant hum coming from my sub and it would give loud pops at random and when turning on the system. I found a way to route my sub cable and all that went away so I know it was the wireless kit.

Great idea poor compatibility
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the idea of this product and have used the Rocketfish - Wireless rear speakers but this product just didn't work for me. I have a sony receiver and for some reason it just didn't pick up the LFE sub signal and would not work for me. It is probably great for those that it worked for but I just decided to move the sub to the front of my room instead of having it at the back.

Worked Less Than 50% of the time
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I connected it just like the instruction states, used advice from previous reviews and it still would pop in and out very loudly during content watching. This was completely intolerable. Decided this product was not worth it and took it back. Look for another alternative. Might work better if it used the 5ghz spectrum instead of only 2.4ghz
