Vacuum too heavy. Easy to push going forward, but difficult to pull back to go over an area more than once. Felt top heavy. Fell over when using attachments unless caddy was used, but using it in canister mode with caddy was awkward. May suit people who like uprights, but those of us used to canister vacs will be less impressed. Should have paid more attention to negative reviews. Got my old Dyson repaired and returned the Shark.

So glad I bought this after much research online. My entire house is so much cleaner. Carpet, floors and upholstery are all cleaner. My previous vacuum couldn't get the pet hair out of the upholstery or get anything off of the hardwood floors. The carpet is so much cleaner, my carpet shampooer no longer clogs up and works so much better.

We love this vacuum. It is heavier than the Dyson but not unmanageable. This vacuum does a fantastic job picking up dirt on the carpet and hardwood. .My favorite thing about the vacuum is how the canister empties. It is so much easier that the dyson. You can rinse out the canister and the filters are easy to reach and clean as needed!

Great suction power on this vacuum, and I love the no-touch removal of trash. it has no problem removing the dog hair from the floor, carpet or couch. The only con is that the suction gun does not stretch well with current hose when removed for up high cleaning.

This Shark vaccum cleaner was bought to clean the carpets and floors in an office in a Scrap Yard . It performs very well as this is a heavy traffic area for debris stuck to the bottom of the soles of boots and shoes worn out in the yard. I give it a very high rating and I’m going to buy one for my house as well.

So happy with this vacuum can not tell you how much I disliked my dyson it never picked up anything bigger than piece of rice it would just push it around and this vacuum gets everything up and I was so surprised how much dust and hair was left behind in my carpet that this thing has gotten up that was left by my dyson

After buying a lot of low cost units we needed something that would remove dog and cat hair. This was the sweeper that did what we wanted. It has so many functions. Self propelled, canister removal, extra brushes, high powered and everything else you could ever want. Did the job then some. Highly recommend. Worth every penny.

Great suction and versatility. I think that the versatility is the best part. Makes a great compliment for my Dyson stick.

We used a 5 year old Hoover pet vacuum to get the best suction or so we thought. First pass with this shark vacuum was like we never vacuumed before, the amount of crud pulled from the carpet was gross but also felt good to know all that stuff was no longer unreachable and still in the carpet. Awesome shark vacuum.

We love our shark. It's a little top heavy but since it's self propelled that isn't really an issue. I wanted an upright my wife wanted a canister, with this shark we got both not to mention all the great attachments. We have a black cat on light rugs and furniture but you never see cat hair after using the shark.

Vacuum started off with extremely strong suction. Then some suction was loss after a few months. Starting to thunk that I should have just got a Dyson.

We recently had to replace our hold Hoover carpet vacuum and decided to upgrade it. Before we had to basically push our vacuum for it to get the carpet cleaned. With this Shark one it basically pulls you and does a great job. Our carpets look way cleaner. We are very happy with our purchase. Worth the $$.

Is lighter than my old vacuum cleaner and alot more options for cleaning. easy to clean filters too

This replaced our older nv3xx series. I couldn't beat the deal of the day price of 199.99. A little bit bigger dust reservoir than the previous one. Lots of cool attachments and really good suction. This one has a manual setting for the type of floor. Overall a great product.

This vacuum is the best one I've ever owned. I love the lights on not only the bottom front, but also the wand. Very easy to empty the canister without making a huge mess. I also really like the lift away feature which makes it very easy to transition from open floor to tight spaces. I am very pleased.

We've had a Dyson since like 2004 and it finally gave out one us so it was time to replace. We started to go with another Dyson until some friends were telling us about the Shark. With 4 dogs in the house we really needed something with some great suction and this has it. Great product!!!!

I am hoping this vacuum is as good as all the reviews I read. The price was the best for it but it is a gift so I can't wait for them to use it and hope they love it as much as others do
