This was the worst vacuum I have ever owned! There was no suction and almost every time we used it we had to take it all apart and figure out where it had clogged!

I previously owned a Dyson. The Shark capabilities did not even come close in comparison so I returned it and bought another Dyson.

Owned a Dyson for 15 plus years so when it was time for a new vacuum of coarse I purchased the Dyson Cinetic Big ball animal + allergy vacuum for $699.. Hated it! Ball is terrible, sounds like it's about to break every time you move it & dirt did not empty out of canister. Returned it and purchased Shark Rotator Powered Lift-Away. This vacuum works so much better. Half the price and works a lot better.

We have an older Shark vacuum, and it has been stellar for all the years we have owned it. However, we liked the lift away and canister features, plus the dust bin on this new model is MUCH larger, which requires less emptying. Great suction, and all of the attachments work well, and fit on the vacuum somewhere. Shark knocked it out of the park with this one. WELL worth the money, and out performs anything else I've tried, including Dyson.

Sounds cheap when running - clangs on the floor - and barely picks up dirt off the ceramic tile floor.

We had a dyson ball vac we thought we would give a shark vac a try and we absolutely didn't like it

We took it back and traded it in for a Dyson cinetic big ball animal and are very pleased with it

The Shark is easy to set up out of the box. You're rolling in no time. The first time you use this vacuum it's actually depressing...because you realize how FILTHY your previous vacuum left your carpets for all those years. We had just vacuumed with our old Kenmore before picking up the Shark. Vacuumed the family room, office and dining room, and completely filled the canister with the grossest stuff - tons of dust, debris, dirt and hair from our dog. Seriously - your old vacuum is a pile of junk compared to this one. It's easy to maneuver, the lights in the front are great, the short/long carpet and floor settings work well, and the quick-release wand and tools are cleverly designed and useful. Washable filter is also a nice touch. Perhaps the only "con" is that the hose on the wand could be longer. No way a Dyson is better than the Shark.

I love the vacuum, great suction. It really picks up more when you think its clean. It is a little heavy but runs great so far.

I absolutely love this vacuum! I have a dog and some thicker carpet in part of our house and this picks of everything. Our old vacuum was a hoover and worked like a charm for a handful of uses but seemed to get worse every time we used it. I've now had our new shark vacuum for several months and it's just as amazing as it was on the first use. I can actually hear everything getting picked up and the floors/carpets look and feel so clean after. I love the double-ended tank for extra ease getting the debris out of the canister and the light to guide your pathway is actually really helpful when you're going over your hardwoods. I would say the only one negative about the vacuum is the weight. It's pretty heavy so I have to use quite a bit of strength to move it around and my arm is tired once all is said and done. But a small price to pay for extra clean floors!

I had a hand-me-down canister vacuum that I got from my parents. It was probably more than 20 years old. It still worked but I wanted a new vacuum cleaner. I researched the usual brands - Panasonic, Oreck, Bissell, Hoover, Eureka, Dyson & Shark. I kept coming back to Shark. It had the features that I wanted. I wanted a bagless upright vacuum cleaner. I wanted headlights on the floor nozzle which most upright vacuum cleaners don't have. I wanted a powered floor nozzle. The deal breaker was the powered lift away. The majority of the upright bagless vacuum cleaners have the nozzle & the dust cup in 1 inseparable unit. Try vacuuming under furniture with that! I just lift the dust cup off of the wand & vacuum under the furniture while the brushes still turn in the floor nozzle because they are powered by a motor; then I put the dust cup back on the wand. My vacuum cleaner came with a canister caddy. I can put the dust cup on the caddy, & use the vacuum cleaner as a canister vacuum. That sucker sucks! I had to keep emptying the dust cup. I'm glad that I got the XL vacuum. When I turned on the vacuum, it leapt forward. The powered brushes & the high suction moved the whole vacuum cleaner. I initially had buyers remorse because I spent more than $200 on a vacuum cleaner. But I don't have the remorse anymore! It has a 7 year warranty. That's longer than other vacuum cleaners. It IS heavy. That's why I'm deducting 1 star.

I recently purchased the Shark - Rotator Powered Lift-Away XL Capacity HEPA Bagless Upright Vacuum. I was hesitant to spend quite a bit more than I did on my first vacuum, but I am sure glad that I did! I have two pets at home, and this vacuum does the trick every time to remove unwanted hair in my home. The attachments are wonderful and aid in cleaning any surface. The Shark - Rotator Powered Lift-Away XL Capacity HEPA Bagless Upright Vacuum picks up much more from my carpet and hard surfaces than my previous vacuum cleaner. It’s amazing how much cleaner my home feels. I would recommend this product to anyone, especially those with pets!

Great vacuum , purchased the Lift away xl nv755 , beats anything we have owned , mini motorized brush is awesome , never believed in them until now , not as noisy as some reviews had stated , main reason on getting this one was for all the extras that are included but you really don't need them all , Do not like the caddy , when you use it as a canister vacuum with the caddy the vacuum head bounces around on the carpet , I think it needs the weight of the canister to keep the vacuum head on the floor. Buy one you will love it .

Really cannot say enough about the cleaning power of this machine. Used my old vacuum first. The difference is so great that it is not measurable. Extremely easy to use; the attachments are good, easy to assemble, and efficient. Cleans as well as old Kirby's and puts Electrolux to shame. Recommend as the best on the market. Would also like to commend Best Buy on their shipping--Excellent.

This design almost vacuums the carpet by itself. Very easy filter change, cleaning and replacement, powerful enough to pull you along with it! Your mode choices are a canister style with the wheeled cradle, an upright, a detachable style for carry in small spaces or stairs. Not hard to figure out. This is a transformer vacuum cleaner! It picks up EVERYTHING my old vacuum left behind.

LISTEN I KNOW THAT ITS PRICEY BUT ITS WORTH IT! MY WIFE WANTED A NEW VAC SO I SHOT FOR THE STARS AND WHEN I GOT THIS BABY HOME I WAS USING IT NOT HER! IT SUCKS EVERYTHING RIGHT UP AND THERE ARE LINES IN THE CARPET LOL! AND THE ATTACHMENTS ARE VERY VERSATILE. YOU WANT REGRET THIS PURCHASE. WE HAVE AFRICAN HARDWOOD, CERAMIC TILE, AND CARPET. WORKS JUST FINE ON ALL 3.

LOVED this vacuum. We got 6yrs of solid use out of it across various floor surfaces. We also have pets and this vacuum picked up everything on the first pass.

I've only had this vacuum for a day but so far it's way better than the Hoover I previously owned. The suction is so powerful, my doormats came out spotless. No debris left in them. My Hoover never got the, fully cleaned. My Hoover always left dog hair on my hardwood floors and I'd have to sweep Right after vacuuming. There was not one dog hair left on the floor after I used my new shark. My dog has short hair and sheds like crazy this time of year so I vacuum at least once a day. I also have three small kids always tracking in dirt and debris. I'm hoping after a few months this vacuum is still holding up well, but for now I love it. The only drawback for me, as others have stated, is when used in canister mode, if it's not resting in the caddy it will easily tip over unless you're actually holding the canister. It's not annoying enough to take away a star though as I am way happier with this than I was with my Hoover.

I've been using a shark navigator for years and have been very happy with the shark brand. Recently I had an opportunity to upgrade to this deluxe rotator model and I love it. This has amazing suction, like pick the runner up off the floor power. The three power settings are great and this will clean hard floors, light runners, medium sized area rugs and wall to wall carpet like a boss. Huge capacity tank for dust and tons of accessories make this a no brainer for someone who wants a truly clean home.
