Easy to use - I got it for work purposes for taking notes - google calendar- working well!

My wife uses it every day for her daily web surfing and the battery life is very good.

Bought this for my wife. Mostly FB some email and paying bills. Small enough to carry but the screen is big enough for what we need.

Our daughter uses her Samsung Chromebook every day to watch movies, do school work and look up interesting subjects. She loves it!

Being cheap is the best thing about it. The Chromebook freezes, it doesn't have a disk port, hardly anything can be downloaded, you can't even download files if they aren't google docs. I mean, honestly, I've never had a laptop that I disliked or even hated as much as I do this one. It really only works user friendly if you're connected to the internet, so if you don't have internet-- you may as well just save up another extra hundred bucks and get a better option. I would say that there is one actual good thing about it; If you are a Viner, or a very avid internet user, and you really don't download anything (don't even think about games.) The only thing you even use your laptop for is the internet, then this is an okay laptop for that, it's very convenient for internet use. The desktop is difficult to maneuver at first, the only thing you really can use is this window. [the icon looks like a file its white and has a blue circle around it]. I'd say just save up for a better laptop. this one is not user friendly. I'm a writer, and my other laptop finally crapped out when my husband and I were on vacation, I still had to write and since it was around holiday time he bought me this as a cheap and seemingly easy fix. Since I really only research things, listen to music, and write, it's not terrible for me. But if you're buying this for someone who likes to actually use their laptop for things other than school work or work work, I would strongly advise against it. As I said before, it's really just good for the bare minimum of activity.

If you're invested in the Google ecosystem, then a Chromebook is the way to go. Starts fast, works fast, does everything I need on and off line, battery life is amazing, and charge time is minimal. Very impressed with Samsung products overall, and toss one is no different.

Great purchase for my 6yr old. No viruses and can be monitored buy the parent user via email. She loves it! I would buy it again!
