Thought it was Microsoft friendly, yet had to do my chromebook research and educated myself. Not for me!

It is slow, not that powerful, did I mention slow?... everything my iPad was not. Basically, I got this because I was in a pinch with work, but pretty much from the time I got it, I wished I hadn't. I should've just stayed with my trusty iPad- it never steers me wrong. The main attribute? The price.

Great computer for Kids who only need to google, youtube, etc. My children are young but still need to look stuff up for school from time to time. We did not have a computer in our home at all so this has served it's purpose. It is very light weight, easily navigated and I found it at a great price. It is a great "starter" computer for my young children.

I've been researching Chromebooks for quite a while, and finally decided to grab one. So glad I did! Using this laptop is a dream - lightweight, loads sites and apps quickly, keeps an amazing battery life. Some folks may be turned off by the fact that a Chromebook doesn't hold programs on the computer itself, but it was never designed to do that, and there are options (as in, other laptops) if that's what you want. If you do a lot of of your work/play online, particularly through cloud services, then this is a perfect tool for that. I'm mobile a lot, so it's nice to just tote my Chromebook and easily continue my work wherever I am. Get a Chromebook - you won't be sorry!

I have looked high and low , read reviews coming and going online in stores. Finally I found a compact well made and design to meet my needs. SIMPLE (that is it) fast and effective , gets me where I'm going without all the complications . No regret happy I purchased this beautiful Samsung ... My first Chromebook.

After buying 3 android tablets in 2 weeks and having OS system issues with all three I switched gears and bought this chromebook, and boy am I glad I did. I love the size, its solid performance and the simplicity of the Chrome OS. The keypad is responsive and the raised keys with the white letters and numbers makes it easy for me to see. If i had one bad thing to say about it, that would be that the screen display quality is not the greatest. But for 199.00, is is a great choice. It streams netflix and youtube well and the hangouts is cool. I plan to buy a printer very soon so I can meet all my needs. If you are considering a tablet or on entry level windows pc, then do what I did and get the Samsung Chromebook 2. You won't be disappointed.

In my opinion it's worth spending a little more for a regular PC. Capabilities on this device seem limited.

This is the first Chromebook I have ever purchased and so easy to setup and operate. Customer service with Samsung is also excellent especially in the chat session that are available 7 days a week. The operating speed is really fast and it even goes to a turbo speed if needed. It is so easy to operate and is awesome and I plan on purchasing a 16gb memory card. Surfing the web couldn't be any easier and of course the unit is very light weight but built strong.

I can use this for my programming work too by using Teamviewer, Chrome Remote Desktop, and ChromeRDP to connect to my work machines, has nice keyboard, size, battery life, and speed.

I have been using the chromebook for awhile now and have come to a good understanding of what I like and don't like about it. Pros: - Google Drive is fantastic, and it comes with 2 years of 100 GB of storage for free, which is plenty to hold all of my songs, pictures, and documents. - It comes with a month free of complete access to all of the Google Play Music. This is probably my favorite feature, because it allows me to listen to any song I want without purchasing anything. I can listen to anything I want as long as I have internet connection, and since I have multiple android/google devices the same applies for them. (Due to the "cloud"). After the first month, it costs $9.99/month. - I was able to take my entire music library from my old computer (i-tunes) and transfer it to google play music. - I have been able to sync up all of my devices with google drive, docs, spreadsheets, slides, and music; this now allows me to take all of my documents and music anywhere because I can access them on my chromebook, my phone, my tablet, and on other computers. - The first time set-up is so insanely fast, all you do is sign in to your google account and you're ready to go! - The keyboard is very comfortable and the touch pad works very well. (I had my doubts about the keyboard because of the size of the chromebook, but I was proven wrong). - Chrome OS is so easy to use, almost self-explanatory. - When you power on the start-up is so fast because all the chromebook has to load is Google Chrome. - I love the function keys of the chromebook, I find that it helps me out a lot more than I thought it would. (i.e. switching tabs, refresh, brightness and volume adjustment). - You can create documents offline, but it will not save on the drive, just on the chromebook, so you must wait until you have internet connection to save it on all of your devices. -Battery life is phenomenal; I can get anywhere from 6-8 hours on a full charge. - Design is very sleek, very light, and extremely portable. Cons: - There is no "Caps-Lock" key on the keyboard, it is replaced with a search key that allows you to search your device, google drive, and the internet at any time. (I would rather have a "Caps-Lock" key, but I do like the functionality of the search key). - The speakers are on the bottom of the chromebook, so when I am playing audio or YouTube videos I get a muffled sound when the chromebook is on my lap. - The On/Off button is located right above the "backspace" key and sometimes when I try to hit the "backspace" key while typing, I accidentally hit the On/Off button. However, if you just tap the On/Off button it does not turn off the device, because it needs to be held down for more than 3 secs to turn off. (So not too annoying). - There is no CD player. - It only allows a microSD card, so you would need to purchase a USB converter. - The charging cable is not very long; I think it is about 4'-5'. - The keyboard does not have a back-light. Overall, I think that the Pros outweigh the Cons. I am thoroughly enjoying using this device and I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is wanting something for browsing the internet, for any student wanting something portable for notes, or for anyone wanting something simple to use.

If you mainly just use the internet this is a great Laptop. It is fast easy to use. Also using Office online or Google docs you can do all of your word processing or spreadsheets. For the price I believe Chromebooks are the way to go. Would highly recommend this laptop to any one in the market for one.

If you are use to Windows don't get this computer. chromebook is the worst computer.

This small, light and compact machine is simply great. It isn't a windows OP system if you're looking for that. Very useful for browsing,emailing, and viewing pictures. If you are like me and not needing a laptop with programs and a bunch of other software you'll never use the Chromebook is for you.

I purchased my first chromebook in 2013 so I thought it was time for an upgrade! I was not disappointed with my purchase. I have been a fan of the chromebook and the chrome OS since I bought my first one and have no intention of switching to a laptop with the windows and Internet explorer system because of the many benefits of chrome! This laptop boots up very fast and has built in virus protection that updates itself every day! It is only 11.6 in and weighs so little that I don't have to worry about carrying around a heavy laptop, especially when I travel! I am very satisfied with my purchase but then again, I knew I would be based on my experience with my first chromebook!

I bought this ChromeBook 2 weeks ago for my business and i surprisingly love it. I haven't been a big Samsung fan and had no clue if chrome os would be sufficient, but it truly is a great machine. Samsung built the highest quality build in the price range i have ever seen, something that really shocked me was the hinge opens almost as nice as a macbook which you never see in budget laptops. Its very fast, but you can say that about all chrombooks. The things that stood out to me with this buy was the build quality in the frame, the hinge, and the track pad all blew me away for this very inexpensive laptop.
