Perfect computer perfect siZe doesnt lag great for surfing the internet

The chromebook is a really good gadget for doing the kids homework, my only complaint is that it seems to easily lose internet connection on my network. Sometimes we need to restart the computer to reestablish a network connection. My kids love it with one exception, the ability to easily zoom in on some google docs. I wish it were easier to zoom in on some documents. Setting up printing is kind of a pain since you need to use either e-print or some other online printing feature.

I had been looking for a small, light laptop to use for personal and business use. This one fit the bill. No more do I have to lug around a heavy computer bag. It was economical as well. Very happy with my purchase.

DOES EVERYTHING I NEED IT TO DO . VERY FAST AND USER FRIENDLY

Not the easiest to use, but excellent once you understand. I wish the files were easier to access and I had a choice of saving on the google drive or on an external drive. I also wish it was more compatible with other operating systems, such as OneDrive or ICloud, so I could exchange projects with my classmates without having to reformat the entire paper.

I purchased this chromebook as it fits my use for surfing the web and receiving email. It is so easy to operate I could not believe it. The ability to expand memory is also awesome and inexpensive. I also like the ability to hookup with my printer if needed. Not dealing with windows 10 is also a plus and virus protection is also included.

My old MacBook stopped working and I wasn't ready to spend another $800-$1500 on a new computer. I use it for school and work, to write papers, do research and send emails and my Chromebook works perfect for that.

I bought this for my wife who only uses a computer for e-mailing and generally surfing the net, including shopping.. It is compact and easy to move around the house or take to the coffee shop. She has also learned how to create basic documents with google docs and is more than satisfied. I may buy a second one for myself.

Google chromebooks are a great small laptop for any kid that wishes to surf the internet but also use it for school. Google provides docs and spreadsheet software so anyone can perform office tasks without the price. they are reliable and virus free.

My 8 year old had been begging for a "laptop" for her birthday. I wasn't sure the best route to go for someone so young, but the Chrome book was absolutely the perfect choice!! She adores her Chrome book and we were able to get some great educational apps downloaded to it as well to help with school/homework.

Purchased this computer as a Christmas gift for my 12 year old daughter. Very happy with the purchase. Computer quickly connects to the internet & is perfect for streaming movies or surfing the web.

I've been looking for a productivity machine for a while now. I'd heard of chromebooks, but was leery of them due to their newness and the rather spartan specs. I have a tendency to want the best possible thing, and they did not seem like it. I was completely wrong. True, I can't use this for gaming or anything heavy like that (but I have a full desktop for that sort of thing), but this does exactly what I need it to do and then some. I am even able to do remote desktop on my main PC, and it was surprisingly easy to set up. The features offline are disappointingly limited, but there are easy enough workarounds. I'm taking some trips coming up, and I can't wait to take this chromebook with me.

great little small laptop for surfing the web and travel use it every day a must when going out town esp since im a big user of google apps once you log in your connected via anything with google

It's a decent operating system. This is the low end hardware version, the pixel is the top of he line version of this device. It does its job, it's for emails, research and watching Netflix.

I bought these devices for my two pre-teen girls. They love them! They provide access to anything java that the Ipads do not. The girls also use it to do school work and upload it to their Google doc accounts with their schools. It's perfect.

Thing is this is not a laptop, it's a chrome book as long as you expectations are set correctly then you will luv this device it lets me do school work watch videos with no issues...battery life is 5-8 hours depending on use keyboard and track bad are decent and speakers are louder than expected
