Bought this to travel with and I wanted to check emails and a few other things but it’s OK not great keyboard action is sluggish probably would’ve not bought it if I knew all the stuff about it

I purchased this laptop with high expectations having owned many Dell products in the past. Fit and finish as well as quality were all typical Dell, i.e. excellent. I was greatly disappointed when I tried to surf the web using my Verizon hot spot. This laptop has PAINFULLY slow WIFI Connectivity. I ran my Samsung tab 3 next to this device and I was able to load four different web pages while the Dell had not loaded one. Please do not buy this device if you plan on enjoying surfing the web!

I find it to be way slower than the in-store model I tried.. even when only accessing gmail or only running one window in the browser. Huge lag, especially switching between applictions. I bought this so that I could write on the go and ultimately it still works for that even though it can be frustrating at times. If I could go back, I would choose another model.

This chromebook is good to have but its slow and it takes a long time to load!

Easy use for a child purchased for a seven year old to do their homework assignment on.

Not much can be done with a Chromebook. Apps must be for Chromebook, regular android apps will not fun on it.

This computer stopped working after 6 months of use. I sent it to Geek Squad a year later and they wanted to charge me $400.00 for the repair. I told them I would not do the repair and wanted it back. It's been 3 weeks and I've not received my Chomebook back.

This is exactly the type of laptop I needed at the time for classes. It is a dependable computer. I would recommend it for students and for those that would like a basic computer.

While I enjoy this laptop's size, speed, wifi connectivity, sound and weight... This laptop is as basic as basic can get. I do enjoy that it is with Google, but you have to do it Google's way. Ultimately, you cannot customize it for your liking. I am currently a graduate student and this laptop was in my price range. And I had to return it the following day. First, I like the idea of having everything Google, but as a graduate student always traveling in and out of WIFI, I need a laptop that needs basic functions that can perform offline. For instance, you cannot have Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint on the Samsung Chromebook. IT HAS TO BE THROUGH GOOGLE! I need to go back to a laptop to where I have the Microsoft icon and application on the home screen and I can type away. I will be honest, this laptop would be great for kids and older folks. Sending emails, playing basic games, watching YouTube and essentially just using Google a search. Does the job, but not good enough for me. I do not think I am asking a lot. Sounds petty, but I just need the Microsoft products on my computer with immediate access. And... I cannot download Spotify or Pandora to where an icon shows up and I can use the application immediately.

My chromebook used to work perfectly, but they make updates and leave items behind. The supervised user function is no longer working and the scroll bar auto hides. Those others I can deal with but the most frustrating is that I cannot select one item in a list, it makes me select all and there is no way to undo this using normal shortcuts. The hardware on the unit is fine but he chromebook software is a joke now. It's become unusable for my functions.

chromebook was good in the beginning. now my samsung and HP both keep poping up with aw snap almost impossible to check email. until chrome fixes this issue, do not waist money on it. 2 years chrome was great today it is trash.
