Stay away from Samsung
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Immediate problems with electronics. Display won't work and it takes 4 to 6 weeks to get parts. Several repair techs told me to stay away from Samsung and LG in the future

Beautiful. Just won't work
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Forget about getting this to work. Multiple new control boards, panels, everything... still inconsistent cooking, false door open alarms, worthless connectivity, 6 recipes on a beautiful screen. An idea that just couldn't be executed. Now trying to figure out what to do, Best Buy has a limited selection on the high end if you aren't in Cali. Warning, Samsung owns Dacor now too, so that's not an option.

Excellent Quality and Features
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I enjoy using the Wall Oven with all of its features. The WiFi keeps me connected when I am away. Temperature of the oven was outstanding. It was also cool from the outside as the oven was running. I used a Dutch Oven on numerous occasions and the meals came out great. When first learning the oven I had to adjust to the temperature because the previous oven was off. After a couple times it was so easy. When using the Gourmet feature I was able to follow the instructions on the display and the meals came out great. I am very impressed with with this oven!!!

Ultimate Wall Oven-Samsung Elite Service Worthless
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this oven back in November, after several delays it was installed 1/27/17... beautiful huge interior, every great feature, definitely the Ultimate Wall Oven that others will be measured against for some time to come. Huge surprise that clock won't stay visible! Also surprised that the step-by-step cooking instructions only show Samsung app-based recipes, hope this expands. Warmed up one meal that evening; next day ovens would no longer heat up. Since BBY's Geek Squad staffing is so short-handed, they can't take a look for another 2 weeks, not to fix, just look! Called Samsung ELITE SERVICE which is the worst ever. This was my second call, and neither rep even knew they made a wall oven. This last rep asked for a model number, when I gave it to him directly from the ABOUT OVEN display; he tells me it didn't exist! Wait on hold, he finds out the hidden model is on the inside bottom door hang, which is totally different. Tells me to figure it out myself with BBY. Whatever company #SamsungAppliances has contracted with for this #SamsungEliteService needs to know what's happening fast or will lose a big client... and should! If this really is an in-house group, maybe they should consider hiring a professional customer service company like #Maritz instead, but TRAINING is essential. FYI, I also spent big bucks on Samsung Family Hub Refrigerator, which so far is great. Right now I'm waiting for a replacement oven to supposedly arrive in another month, which will mark over 4 months without an oven!

A solid oven
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The oven works fine. Had some issues with the steam function, and the screen not working properly. Having manual dials makes up for it.

Do not buy if you like to bake
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ivery disappointed with this oven and am returning it. Am a serious baker--for decades--and none of my time-tested recipes have been successful. On the bake setting (not bake with convection), the oven seems to be a semi-convection and the air circulation, which I think is intended to keep the temperature at a constant temperature, has the result of overcooking the outside of everything. Have tried adjusting temperature and time, with no consistent results. A smaller but irritating issue is that the oven clicks constantly, both as it is preheating and during use. Up to 60 clicks in a few minutes. Might not bother most people but if you are sensitive to such noises, it's a nightmare. Had a repair person come examine and it's not a defect in my oven--this is the way it's designed. As long as I am being critical, the timer feature is over-engineered--you have to push three different buttons to get the timing going. A shame because the oven has many wonderful features--very aesthetically appealing, large capacity, large glass doors, and much more. I am so disappointed to send it back but since I am a baker, I can't live with results.

DO NOT BUY. Smart Features do not work!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Before I start, I'm neither a Samsung hater nor a technical idiot. I'm a member of Samsung's developers community and have a TON of experience with IoT, and Samsung Smartthings in particular. I purchased an entire suite of Samsung appliances last Dec. and have been nothing but disappointed. This oven in particular has NEVER worked as intended. The first thing I tried to do is connect the oven to Smartthings. The app didn't recognize it right off the bat, which surprised me. After considerable searching, I contacted Samsung and was told that it's not supported by Smartthings. I couldn't believe that was true, so I contacted several of my contacts in the developer channels. All of them confirmed it's not a supported device. Again, I can't see how that's even possible since the Bestbuy description says it's compatible and there was advertising everywhere in the store. this was the top of the line model when i bought it, how on earth is it not supported by Smartthings? I contacted Samsung again and was told that while Smartthings was correct, it's not supported, it IS supported by Samsung's Smart Home app. OK, I downloaded another app, which I wasn't happy about, and tried to connect. No luck there either. The dishwasher, range hood and cooktop all connected in the Smart Home app, but the oven wouldn't. I called tech support several times and they couldn't get it to connect. After probably 10 calls, they finally told me it wasn't really supported in that app either. I honestly forgot about it for a while and just used it as a "dumb" oven. (For what it's worth it isn't great at that either). Today I thought, OK, by now it has to be supported in SmartThings. I made several calls, and was told it's still not supported. Then the kicker. They transferred me several times I was told that Samsung has discontinued the Smart Home app altogether. I was transferred several times and talked to several supervisors. I was told repeatedly that Smart Home is no longer supported at all and the oven "doesn't yet work with SmartThings". So, after spending over $3500 for a smart oven, I have one that isn't smart in any way. The oven connects to the internet, but there is no app to control it. I asked the supervisors why anyone in their right mind would spend the extra money for the smart features when they don't work. There are similar models without connectivity that are much cheaper. There response was "Well, we may add functionality in the future." I pointed out there is currently ZERO functionality, and they couldn't care any less. They just said to wait and see if they actually choose to make it work in the future. Bestbuy is selling this oven today. It's still marketed as having smart connectivity. It says it's supported by Smartthings. The description claims you can control it from your smart phone. it claims you can start, stop or monitory cooking from a connected app. None of that is accurate. As a dumb oven, it's OK. But you can buy one of those for a lot less money.

Samsung Service is a horror show
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this oven and the temperature was not even close to what was set for the oven. Requested service from Samsung, but no technicians were available to service their product. Samsung finally offered a refund, but the cost of the oven had increased so it would not cover a replacement. Worst service experience I have ever experienced with over 30 hours on the phone and still no resolution. I will NEVER buy another Samsung appliance and would strongly recommend others avoid this poorly constructed and serviced product.

Do not use self clean.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The oven is fine when it works, but it shuts itself off sometimes. And finally shut itself off for good and the doors are locked. Do not use self clean mode. That is what did it in for us. Junk.

Stay away from this Samsung product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased this oven and have had problems with it since it was delivered. We have had multiple technicians come to look at it and have had numerous parts replaced (fans, boards, etc.). I would not recommend this oven for any use. In addition, it was very difficult reaching Samsung for service and impossible to escalate issues.

Beautiful but POORLY ENGINEERED - Doesn't Work
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really hated that I finally had to give up on my Samsung Wall Oven. Nothing can compare with its features and price point.... just wish Samsung and Dacor engineers (if Samsung kept any of them when they bought Dacor) could just figure out how to make it work! Uneven cooking, poor convection, could never bake a cake in 2 years and after 3 replacements! Computer panel constantly being replaced, as well as everything electrical. Also, the Gourmet recipes never get updated or increased, so you have like a half dozen recipes and that's it. Firmware can't be updated on-line though their own built-in worthless WIFI, you must download from an iPhone (that's right, they don't support an Android app!!). The repairman had to come back after he borrowed his kid's iPhone hoping that the firmware would help.... it didn't. Also, the Samsung Home set-up on their major appliances is incompatible with Samsung's various incompatible Smart Home products, including Smart Things. Finally gave up and invested in a Thermador and was able to bake a cake for the first time in years. DON'T put yourself through the pain and suffering you'll experience owning a Samsung Wall Oven.
