Horrible Experience
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a horrible experience when I bought a washer and a dryer from Best Buy Mountain View Store. The saleslady who sold me the washer told me "I knew what accessaries you need" and added two hoses into the cart without any notifications in advance and I didn't notice the two hoses until I paid for them. And the original package indeed includes all the necessary hoses & connectors. Check your package before you pay for any accessaries. Even worse, I told the saleslady I want to stack the two machines but she DIDN'T add a stacking kit for me! I don't realize I need the stacking kits until the workers come my home and told me they can't install because no stacking kits. After the workers delivered the two machines and rejected to install because no stacking kits - "You need to buy the stacking kits. We don't have it, you should go back to the store." I went back to the store, standing there for an hour, waiting for an available specialist to help me. They are so "busy" and their way of helping me is keep saying "thank you for your patience" every 5 minutes. Finally I got a nice young man helped me out - Unfortunately he was a new guy and didn't know how to do it. He told me he would take care of it and call me back in 24 hrs. But, he NEVER call back in 48 hours! I have to stop by the store again on the other day. Lucky, a very experienced guy helped me to reschedule the install and sold me a stacking kits (finally ...) Workers who came to install the machines are REALLY BAD - they are totally un-responsible and unprofessional. They rejected to connect the vent because it went through the basement; they rejected to connect the water because the faucet is slightly leaking (yes, it's slightly leaking but I told them I will get it fixed later but they rejected); they didn't place the machines in position and left. They didn't know the steam dryer needs a hose. They did a really bad bad job. Right now my two machines are sitting in the center of my kitchen. I have to do everything myself with the help of my friends. I got a mail from a so called "VP" saying "Thank you! We will send me a survey in 1-3 days" but I never got any further emails from them. Is she kidding me? On Best Buy's name? I knew Best Buy ran into some finance issue this year but I didn't realized that their service became so poor. I will go Home Depot next time if I need any appliances.

buy any other company but Samsung! No Support
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this unit 6 months ago, 10 days ago the door would not lock, so i opened up a ticket for service and talk to a Samsung rep and they said they would contact me in 1 to 2 days i called a few days later because i didn't get a call, they gave me the number for the service company when i called it the number was disconnected, i called back and the Samsung rep called and the number was not working, so they set me up with another company and gave me the number i have left multiple messages and never got a call back from the service company, so i called Samsung, who said they would make sure someone would call me (6 days had past) i never got a call back. I call back a few days later and they said they would promise to get someone to call me, which never happens. 10 days later i called again, and they had me talk to the highest department that would help me, i talked to the rep and he said he would have to send it to the dispatch department to find a tech in my area because the two are not responding to them (i live in a major city) and it would take 2 to 3 days to get a response, when i asked to talk to a supervisor he said they where not available but he could request them to call me in a few days, i told him this was not acceptable but he said there is nothing they can do, so i have been doing laundry out, and it seems like they have no support to help! all they do is keep moving you to different departments and days past, it has been 10 days and it seems like it will take another 10 days so, i would tell everyone to purchase another company machine, because if you ever have an issue you might as well buy a back up machine because they will not help you! I have spent over 4 hours talking to people and this is day 10! Stay away!

Call Samsung up and was told that, "there is nothing else I can do for you. you have the option of purchasing another one of our unit"? yeah if I was made of money. Paid over $1,000, less then 5 year, going to cost the same to repair. That's Samsung for you. Good luck dealing with there customer service department!!!

Extreme vibration

Placed it in the same location and had it professionally installed. From the start, the unit experienced an EXTREME vibration at spin cycle, causing the unit to actually walk across the floor. Samsung sent a repairman who could not find anything obviously wrong. Samsung refused to replace the machine. Have initiated a small claims suit to recover my money. DON'T BUY THIS!!!!!!!!

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is High Efficiency. For a month we had it,some of the clothes would come out dry and not washed at all. Also my water bill was super high for that month. I replaced it with LG Top Loader.
