Bought our first house and needed a washer. This fit the bill perfectly. It has a great amount of features for the price. It has a large enough capacity for our needs (husband and wife-no kids) and the quality is very good. Samsung did not disappoint.

Wife and I are very satisfied with this washer. We purchased this matching washer/dryer for our new home in September and have been pleased with the performance.

We really loved the function of this washer! It was wonderful when it was working and always got our clothes clean, and we thoroughly loved the steam settings, however, the washer drum became disconnected twice and would cause horribly loud bumping in the washer. Thanks to our Best Buy warranty, we were able to have the drum replaced both times, but our original warranty is now up and the drum needs replacing for a third time. Although we loved the function of the washer, because of the issues we had, I cannot say that I would purchase it again.

Bought the whole set Washer/ Dryer/ pedestals/hookup kit and professionally installed by BestBuy. Less than a year the washer broke and stopped working. Samsung Tech has been in my house 3 times, replaced multiple parts (main board, pcb and inverter). This did not fix the problem. Called Samsung Support and now they're sending me a different Tech. What else can you diagnose or replace? Samsung states they could not replace this piece of garbage until they exhaust all their options. How many more visits or appointments does it take to finally say that this typical washer is defective?

We are Elite Plus members, purchased the extended warranty, were swayed by reviews and the salesperson and this washer has not been a good choice so far. The pump failed. The control board failed. All within 1.5 months. It failed on a Thursday. They were able to look at it 6 days later. They had to order parts. Two weeks later, the arrived with the parts and fixed it. We tried to expedite it, but were told this was the best they could do. We do not like the inability to modify settings such as temp or speed on normal setting. We are pleased with the dryer so far. It suffers from the same problem of the inability to modify temps under normal settinegs. MOST of all we are upset with how unimportant we felt with their ability to provide service particularly with a washer that 45 days old and failed us. As always, buy good equipment from your local retail store, not the big box store. They will always provide poor support for a marginal price difference....unless you get luck.

Bought the "merlot" Samsung washer which was installed yesterday. Two things, which might be relevant: one, either due to incorrect installation or defect in design, washer shakes violently, jumps and moves around room- I wouldn't call it vibrating, as Samsung called it. I have them stacked and it looks like it's going to topple over. Second, doesn't clean- using HE detergent, following specs, clothes went in dirty, came out dirty

Sure it washed clothes well for two years. However, after use in a 2 person household (no pets), at the less than 3 year mark we are experiencing multiple expensive breakdowns. The first was the front door gasket leaking and needed to be replaced at a cost of $220. Just a few months later it has started to dump large quantities of water that have gone through our wall and could cause a serious and expensive mold issue. If you do invest in this unit be sure to place it on a waterproof surface with a very good floor drain. And buy the extra Protection Plan or be prepared to shell out a lot of money.

Its a great product, Bought it in 2014 and now its 2022, 8 years no Issues and No service required. Perfect Capacity and great washer

I love everything about this washer dryer set! The timer to set it so your wash will be done exactly when you want is probably my favorite.

I was anxiously awaiting the delivery of our new washer today. It came and they hooked it up. When they powered it on it would not fill with water and gave an error code. The installer checked all of the connections and water flow and then told me the unit was defective. They had to take it back. We have to wait for another unit to be delivered. We have a Samsung refrigerator and love it. I am disappointed. I may increase my rating when the new unit arrives and I am able to use it.

I loved it in the beginning, but must admit I loved the red color. Purchased the set 5/25/14 and was told today it will take hundreds to fix the washer! It shakes horribly, is loud, and has now started leaking! Please read reviews about corrosion before buying this washer!!! Avoid it like the plague!
