Works great, but it died after 6 years. The drum broke during a wash. Ive been told that samsung is not reliable as front load washers. It worked great for 6 years and died. My previous one, which was nkt samsung, worked for 15 yrs and was still working. I gave it away.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with a broken Samsung washer that failed within two and a half years of purchase. While I had high hopes for this product, I was sorely disappointed by its reliability and Samsung's lack of assistance in addressing the issue. As a consumer, I expect the products I purchase to last for a reasonable amount of time, and a washer that fails within just a few years is unacceptable. We were not even use the machine very often, probably once or twice per week. With the experience we got and the $,1000 we spent, I would not recommend purchasing a Samsung product. Not worth the trouble and investment.

A lot of problems after 5 years usage. Please save your time and money and see something else.

Warranty... Definitely need to purchase the warranty. Machine almost caught fire 5 years and 2 months after purchase. I had purchased the warranty but sadly it expired just 8 weeks after it almost caught fire and it was not electrical. Best Buy refused to acknowledge a grace period despite being a customer for 20+ years. Very disappointed in the lack of understanding and customer service. Shop elsewhere where they care for their customers.

Look at warranty. That’s how long your Samsung will last. Not work the money. I have had problems after first year. First the door goes out. Next your machine will stop spinning. DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG. GOOGLE THE REVIEWS if you don’t believe me.

I have had this washer for less than 3 years and the hinge from the smaller door has rusted and broken off. How can a washing machine not handle water, and less than 3 years at that. The extended warranty that I purchased says it does not cover the item and Samsung says that since it has not been conveniently recalled, I, the consumer am to pay for repairs. So the consumer has to pay for Samsung using inferior quality metal on a washing machine.

My washer is three years old, (just went out of warranty, naturally), and started giving repeated HC error codes. After numerous calls to Samsung to try and diagnose the problem, they eventually sent out a service tech. Just the cost of the diagnosis was almost $200, where the tech determined that it would need "$300-$400" worth of parts, not including labor to get it running. Now I am faced with the question of throwing large amounts of money at a problem that may or may not stay fixed, or to buy a new washer. My last washer (Kenmore) lasted two decades. This one lasted three years. Needless to say I am never buying another Samsung appliance again.

Noticed a leak from the washer door less than a week out of warranty and I was informed by Samsung that I will be responsible for any repairs necessary. Do not waste your money on any Samsung appliances. If I can save one person from wasted money, I will post every where I am able. My dryer that matched needed to be repaired 4 times as well.

This machine went bad in less then a year from purchase. It makes terribly loud noise when running. Hardly ran 30 wash cycle. We called Geek Squad and they said it needs replacement upon checking due to product defective. I waited 15+days for the update, finally called to follow up and they said deal with Samsung directly and Samsung is blaming on Best Buy. I recommend to stay away from this product and if possible stay FAR away from buying expensive appliances from Best Buy.

so far, haven't had any issues with it. Definitely a heavy piece. Washes great and no real complaints since I bought it back in 2018.

It's garbage. These were defectively made and all start breaking down within 5 years or less. See the other reviews. Mine stopped working after only about 3 and half years, and the cost to repair is as much as just buying a new one - and of course I will not be buying Samsung again.

I love the pocket. It's my favorite feature since I often forget an item or 2.

I liked this washer when I first got it. But the latch broke on the little passthrough and I had to tape it closed in order for the washer to work. Not it won't get the water out the clothes. I have had the repairman out 3 times, and still won't work right. Stay far away from this washer.

this washer had issues since i brought it and now 4 years later it stop working never buying samsung again.

I purchased the Samsung washer and couldn't be happier. It is exactly as described and i am blown away by the performance.

I purchased this set as the tech specs said WiFi compatibility. Did not realize I had to purchase a separate adapter to get them to be WiFi, but ok no big deal. Had to purchase adapters from Samsung as Best Buy does not carry them anymore, was not happy about that but ok, again. Received the adapters and cannot get them to sink to WiFi. Had a geek squad installer come out “which he was very pleasant to work with and is trying to do everything he can to get adapters to work, but so far having no luck. I do jot recommend purchasing this set if you are wanting to use the WiFi feature. If i could I would return this set. I am beyond frustrated with not being able to use one of the main features that helped me decide to purchase this set.

Washing machine broke after 8 months! Samsung hasn't done anything but give us the run around for almost 3 weeks now! It is now MOLDY!! Now the Samsung tech says it's the MOTHERBOARD that is broken!!! Now another week or so!! Samsung hasn't done ANYTHING to help us!!! We would never buy another Samsung product EVER AGAIN. Please do not waste your money!

Love this washer but whenever I use Tide Pods it starts acting up. All draining stops and a warning light shows SC. The entire system freezes up in the process, I've had it worked on multiple times but no success.

Purchased this machine on 11/10/18 from local Best Buy. Almost exactly 2 years later the motor went out. Motor carries a 10 yr warranty. For warranty coverage, must go through Samsung service, which can not be scheduled for WEEKS. Beware. This will be the last Samsung appliance I ever purchase, as I also own a Samsung dishwasher that is rather a piece of junk as well. Lesson learned, do yourself a favor and don't learn the same lesson. Buy another brand.

The washer is barely 3 years old and constantly shows 4C error and doesn't empty the soap dispenser unless we pour a pitcher of water into it at the begining of the wash cycle. I've inspected and ensured all inlet screens are cleaned, I even removed flow limiters/backflow preventers from the hoses and valve body to ensure good cold water flow. I shouldn't have to purchase and replace a $140 valve body on a 3 year old washer. Never buying Samsung again...
