    Control board went out after 4 years. Very much dissastified with Samsung Appliance (washer). Crossing my finger on Dryer. They are great on Phones but not on appliance. :(

    Broken within 6 months ruined floor and ceiling

    At less than 6 months of the purchase the drain pump malfunctioned and leaked the entire load onto my new floor on the first floor down into the basement ceiling. Best Buy fixed the washer with no problem. After dealing with Samsung insurance for 3 months they told me that there was no damage and they will only pay to clean my floor. The agent did not even send anyone out for 2 months following the accident.

    I’d give them zero stars if I could. I purchased this and the matching dryer, and now, just 6 months out of warranty, the control board isn’t working causing the washer and dryer to run for hours and leaving the clothes soaked in the washer. You should figure the extended warranty into the cost. I wish I had. Samsung wouldn’t deal with my repairman, so I have to pay for theirs.

    Floods my basement

    I have had this washer since September (4months) and it has flooded my basement 3 times!!! I purchased the geek squad 5yr warranty but they wont help me bc its still under samsung warranty. Samsung sends repair man and he did absolutley nothing after the first time it flooded. Now its getting worse and I cant get intouch with anyone. Ive owned many washers and none have ever done this! Not worth the money at all!! Terrible washer

    The washing machine worked awesome for the 2.5 years it was under warranty. I had BB tech and replaced every single component and board and still dont work. It has something to do with the electronics of it. very disappointed because they are not cheap.

    Do not buy this product, seal on front load will go bad, just a matter of time. They came out 4 separate times already to fix the problem and now that the same issue is happening again, they refuse to pay for it because we are out of the warranty period. Ridiculous.

    Bough it new 6/29/19 broken at 11/01/21. Broke and unrepairable after 2 years. Waste of money on SAMSUNG WASHER. SAMSUNG WARRANTY ONLY GOOD FOR 2 YEARS.

    GARBAGE - Samsung - 4.5 Cu. Ft. 14-Cycle Addwash

    Brand new machine. First wash 30 minutes after delivery. Washer starts making a loud noise during the spinning cycle. Called Customer Service. They are trying to send a tech to fix a brand new machine. Told them that this is "NUTS". Ticket escalated. Lady calls me after 30 minutes. Asked me to call her in the morning to check availability for a new machine (looks like that they were not able to check availability today). I will update once I know more. Fun Times !

    broke down after 3 years of ownership. Started having issues with drum. Was too costly to replace drum so ended up scrapping. Regular use washer that costs 1100 should not break down after 3 years.

    Defective product - door doesn't lock

    Super upset got it installed today which was a pain and then the washer door doesn't lock. Spent over an hour with Best Buy on phone to solve it told it would be nearly 2 weeks to get a technician to sort it. Instead now have to take a day off to get them around again to replace it and have to tip installers again real annoyed and a poor product.

    Don’t waste your money!

    I purchased this washer in January of 2017….It’s now November of 2021 and I need a new one. I’m a single person that lives alone, so I may wash 2 loads a week. The repair person came out and started it would cost me 1100.00 dollars to repair the machine. As you can see it only cost me 800.00 to purchase it. Samsung is giving me 300.00 in an e coupon. Don’t purchase anything from Samsung!

    Our dryer is 2 years old and we just spent $300 having the belt tension idler replaced. The bearing seized and the plastic pulley melted off. Not only should components not fail so quickly, THIS IS A FIRE HAZARD. Don't buy Samsung appliances.

    This washer started having issues after only 2 years. It stopped draining properly and would leave the everything soaking wet. Luckily I bought the extended warranty with it. It took well over a month to fix during which time I had to go to the laundry mat because the washer was not usable. Best Buy warranty fixed the issue and all was good for another 2 - 2 1/2 years. Then I noticed that the clothes were starting to seem more wet after washing again so I called service in again. They were out a couple of times and replaced some parts. It kept having the same issue and it was getting worse and worse. The washer was constantly giving error codes 5ud and 5c. Meaning there were too many suds and it couldn’t drain. It even gave me the suds code on a load with no detergent. Eventually I was told that it was the motherboard that need to be replaced, except that part was no longer available to get so the washer could not be fixed and I would have to get a new one. I have since gotten a new washer but I spent $2,500 on a matching washer and dryer set 5 years ago and expected them to last far more than 5 years. I don’t know much about other Samsung appliances but I would suggest staying away from this one!
