Actually had to return the original washer with the first 2 weeks. Samsung delived a new one and I have had problems with it from day one. I have to call my home warranty company out at least once a year. Well, 4 years later it finally stopped working. THAT'S RIGHT, IT LASTED 4 YEARS. Would not recommend this model.

This washer machine not only has a problem with shaking during the spin cycle,but now it began to leak underneath the bottom within one month and a half time. I wish that I would've read the reviews before purchasing this product. Now I have to wait for a repair guy to come to my house and figure out what the problem is with this washer. I'm not happy at all with the quality of this product. Samsung you have to do better. This is ridiculous. A brand new washer with all these problems...

DONT BUY

Samsung should stick with mobile devices & tvs

Washing machines are expected to last on average for 10 years; this one lasted exactly 4. Machine wouldn't move through the wash cycle. The Samsung technician came out and said too much vibration caused damage to the sensor and other parts, which would cost over $500 to repair. That's more than 75% of the price we paid for the washer! For that price it makes sense to just buy a new washer. :-( Samsung should stick with mobile devices and tvs. I am switching to GE!

Just outside of the warranty, the control board went bad and washer won't run now. Called Samsung and they sent service out. Found out they no longer make this board. In fact, repairman said they have had problems with this since it was made. The control board no longer exists. Samsung said sorry it's out of warranty and we suggest you search for this board, even though it's not even made any more. Terrible service. Promised it would be fixed by Samsung and they backed off and said "nothing we can do now".

The door also had issues and got replaced twice in the last two years, but this time the washer doesn't complete a cycle and is not something that can be easily recovered. Just spent another $1000 to switch to LG. Very disappointed with a near $1000 washer with only 5 year life.
