Nice and deep. Tends to go out of balance a lot and then the cycle starts over. Had 1 load that took 8 hours to complete.

I rarely rate products but after much frustration selecting a washer thought this might help someone choose. My first top loading Samsung only lasted 6 years with several repairs and only washing for 2 people but needed the capacity to handle king size bedding. I had decided to buy the cheapest one I could find and just get another when it died but there isn't much choice for 5.0 cubic or larger so bought the same one again hoping they might have corrected some of the problems. It seems to wash better but still doesn't spin out enough even on high, heavy items and towels are still pretty wet,probably overworking the dryer, another issue. BUY the extended warranty, I never do but based on the history of my first washer decided it was worth it.

I love this washer never had any problems and It tells you when you need a self cleaning. Very good product and I would recommend this product I have had it for many years good quality.

By far the very best washer I have ever owned. Til this day this one works like new. I'm so happy I purchased this one 7 years ago.

I just bought this as a part of a set and LOVE the washer. It has so many functions, is easy to install, set up, and use and i already notice how much better my heavily soiled clothes are cleaned!! This washer did NOT disappoint!!

Quiet and gets all clean and soft! A little high for a 5'5 to reach the very bottom but for the benefits I'll reach or use a step stool!

Bought it in 2018 and it works as the first day. It is a must if you have a king size bed. We washed king size comforters easily. But, it may be difficult to use for small people. I am 5’7 and barely reach the bottom to take out small pieces like socks. My kids cant do laundry for this reason. With kids, a front load washer would be a better option if you want them to help.

We replaced an older whirlpool that died on us. This washing machine is fantastic so far. It runs very quiet, can fit large loads with no issue.

It does a great job on everything, including dog blankets (2 huskies, I recommend everyone always run self clean after something like this) and king sized blankets. It can be a little loud during the spin cycle but when our laundry room door is closed we don't notice it.

I’ve owned this washer for 5 years and it still works but the reason for the 3 star is because anything I wash my blankets and comforters o have an issue. I always have to pull a soaking wet blanket out of the washer to finish the cycle

The washer worked well for a little over a year. Of course, as soon as the parts warrant expired, my washer decided to break. After running diagnostics, I received errors 8C, dc, and ub. I replaced the mems sensor, and still receiving the errors. When starting a load, it will fill up, trip and error code and start all over. It will never enter the wash cycle. It just continues to fill and drain. I contacted Samsung, who advised I would be contacted after a week. It has been nearly four weeks. I had an outside tech come look at the washer, and of course he can’t find out what’s wrong and assumes it may be the control board, which cost around $300 to replace. The washer is 1.5 years old and cost $650. Samsung is a joke. I will not be buying another Samsung appliance.

This washer is great! Gets my clothes very clean and is very quiet! Also love the "I'm done" tune!! Unless you are taller than me, 5'1", you will need a stool to reach to the bottom of the drum. Large items, not problem here! I have a stool, but use my tongs that I wrapped felt around the ends to grab the stuff I can't reach!! lol

I purchased this washing machine over a year ago and I have to say that I have been very satisfied with it. It does a great job on the laundry. Its great for delicate items and heavily soiled items. I will be a purchaser of Samsung washing machine for life now. You won't be disappointed in your purchase if you are on the fence about it.

Love the different settings, matching my needs. The washing barrel is deep, and I am tall and still have to stretch to reach the bottom, I like that, but a shorter person may not. Love how it works, it's quiet, and I don't have to spend time checking as it will do all that I ask.

I have not had any complaints with this washer. Its very quite and does what it suppose to do. It doesn't leave my cloths super wet like other washing machine. I would definitely suggest this washer to anyone. Also i purchased this washer May 2016.

We got this washer a year ago and 3 weeks ago it stopped cycling, giving an error code of “8C”. Called Samsung, and it took over a week for them to get back with a scheduled repair call. The repair guy came out, said it was a display module, charged us $467 to repair, but the part had to be ordered. So here we sit, almost 2 months past the initial problem, with a broken machine and broke wallet. I will never buy another Samsung appliance. We had our Whirlpool washer and dryer for 22 years, had one repair on the washer that cost less than $50. My granddaughter has my washer and it’s still working. The warranty expired at the end of July 2019, and it broke in September 2019. I will make sure to tell ANYBODY in the market for a washer or dryer NOT to waste their money on Samsung. I’m extremely dissatisfied with Samsung.

Does the job. Uses less water but still gets clothes clean. I do construction and usually get pretty dirty. My work clothes come out clean even with less water

No owners manual and that sucks!! Washed my rugs and some of them had some sand in them and when I took them out of the washer to put them in the dryer there was sand in the bottom of my washer. I did a rinse and spin mode and also did the clean mode and it was still in the washer!! Ended up taking a damp sponge and wiping out the interior. That was my first not so good experience but on a good note it is cleaning my clothes. Would like to have an owners manual mailed to me as I do not want to have to go on line every time I have a question
