Customers are saying

Customers love the large capacity, cleaning performance, quiet operation, and ease of use of this 5.0 Cu. Ft. 11-Cycle High-Efficiency Top-Loading Washer. However, some customers mentioned that the washer's depth may be inconvenient for shorter individuals, and that the spin cycle and balance could be improved. A few users also reported experiencing issues with the machine's reliability. The small agitator size was also noted as a potential drawback by some users.

    Twisted, Pulled & Tangled

I was excited to buy this washer after reading some of the great reviews. However, now that I have had it for 7 months, I see that the back and forth motion twists and pulls your clothing. If I could make my purchase again, I would choose a front loader. The gentle tumbling is much better for your clothes.

    Washer machine use

Overall the washer machine is good but we have repaired several times this washer machine using Geek warranty. I think this machine is perfect for light use only, not for havy use.

Everything started off great. Takes on big loads and great maintenance system. Three years later there is a HUUUGGGEE issue with flakes appearing in the washing machine. This is a known issue with amsung. I have done all my maintenance as schedule buteventually it will rust in the botton. DO YOUR RESEARCH ON THESE MACHINES!! This isa known problem. I have to replace the entire machine.

2 years old and falling apart

My wife hates this machine! It does not do a very good job at all at getting clothes clean. Especially kids underwear…. 2nd issue we have is that it leaves the residue from tide pods on clothes & is not dissolving the pods completely. 3rd issue now is with the liquid softener, you dump it in and it runs straight out of the holder, I have taken it apart & cleaned it & it still does it. & if your a shorter person like my wife you will struggle to reach the bottom of the tube.

    Still wet

After washing my clothes I take them out & they are still soaking wet. I have to use the spin cycle one or even twice just to get the water drained all the way. It’s ridiculous to pay all this money for a half fast job

Circuit went out @ 3 years. Was told by the repair tech that they discontinued the part. He said Samsung was trash and he wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Waste of my money.

This washer stopped spinning after 4 years. During the time it was working, the wash cycle was very long compared to my previous washer. Going to stick to old school washers from now on. Samsung gotta stick to just phones and tvs.

I’ve owned this washer for a little over 2 years. It just started flushing mold into the drum and all over my clothes leaving me with no option but to buy a new washer. Samsung customer service is horrible!

      Hello Cthomas.
If I were in your position, I would feel just as you do. And, I'd like to help you fix this. Please try the steps on this link (https://bit.ly/2NOlka0) to calibrate the unit. Calibration Mode is used to reset the weight detection on a washing machine and is typically one of the last steps of installation before the washer is ready for use. Also, this cycle chart (https://bit.ly/2nE2VAR) will help you know more about your washer and the way it works. ^Gaby Samsung

My washer is less than two years old, and it is not working. Repair man put in a sensor and charged 236.00 and still is not working and he has no idea how to fix it. Now i guess i call samsung and see what my next option is.

    Rusted inside

Rusted and metal coated paint peeled off inside next to water dispenser in under 3 years. Who makes a washer machine that rusts on the inside! Pathetic
