However, some customers mentioned that the washer's depth may be inconvenient for shorter individuals, and that the spin cycle and balance could be improved. Initially i had purchased a Maytag set. I ruled out brands such as LG and Samsung as makers of a quality washer and dryer. But after speaking with many sales reps i learned that more people buy Samsung and LG. I’ve had it for over a month now and have no complaints.

This washes is efficient, large capacity and quiet. The settings give a great variety of options that make doing laundry easy and prevent damaging clothes. Being a top loader is a big plus because the cycle can be paused to add items at any time.

I love my new washer! It has literally cut my loads in half with the 5 cu ft drum! I love the options for washing and the jingle it makes when it's finished instead of the alarming buzz sound. I definitely recommend this washer. I also got the matching dryer which is amazing!

Was skeptical about buying one of these new high efficiency washer's with digital controls so I went with a name I can trust - Samsung. I really like the large capacity (5.0 cu. ft.) and "deep wash" option, top loading, and very quiet due to the Vibration Reduction Technology.

One of my favorite items I have purchased from Best Buy! It is very user friendly and I love the "clean" feature. It reminds me whenever the washer is in need of a good clean. Great capacity just love it!

Very large can wash comforters easily, would purchase again. I wish that I could add more water at times but other than that it does the job. Very Satisfied. More issues with delivery not the actual product.

Not only is this the biggest wash drum I've ever had in a washing machine, it's also the quietest machine ever. I love being able to do more laundry at one time so I don't spend days doing our families dirty clothes! Love my new machine!!!

This Samsung washing machine was purchased the beginning of October 2017. So our old Samsung front load washer was starting to kick the bucket after about 8 years of use. I was away on business when my wife called frantic that the washing machine wasn't working. I did some research and finally landed on this top loader by Samsung because we hated the front load machine that broke. I ordered online for in store pickup since we needed a new one sooner than the delivery date. Wife picked it up with some help from her brother and they had it installed without issue after moving a few things to accommodate the washer / dryer being side by side now. Within hours after I heard they put the new one in my wife was calling overjoyed with the performance and the size of the new washer. It's quieter than our old one which also featured the quiet drive tech and vibration reduction. Wash cycles are comparable, haven't noticed it taking any longer than the old washer, still uses the same little tune when a wash is done which I guess is nice since the dryer does the same tune. This new washer has more cycles and from the specifications seems to be more power efficient - also a plus. As for the cons, well if you're on the shorter side be prepared to do some created moves to reach the bottom of the washer drum. Me and the wife are both over 5'-11" and we have no problems but I could see shorter folks needing to keep a step handy. Another con is occasionally (but very rare) the drum is loaded in just the wrong way so that the washer is incapable of balancing the load. One of two things will happen, you will either be summed by the washer via an error code and chime or if you're unlucky the wash will just seemingly be taking forever. At this point you only save yourself time and money based on how lazily contented you are on the couch to bother to get up and go investigate. This has only happened twice since our purchase and was simple to correct through better habits in loading the drum. In summary this is a great washer that does it's job as I would expect. It cleans our laundry well and is more efficient and easier to maintain than our older Samsung front loading washer. At the current sale price of $499 this is a steal. We paid a little more just over a month ago and it was still a great buy - though I wish I could still qualify for the price guarantee! haha.

Best washing machine compared to the front load LG we had before. Only downside is that I'm short so I have to kinda lean in to grab laundry out which can be painful on the ribs. Thinking about getting a little stool lol. Either way its awesome!

It was time to put our previous washer out of commission and get a new one. We spent countless hours doing the research on the various types of washers out there and narrowed it down to this one and Maytag. (Being a fan of Samsung... Samsung won). We purchased the unit that doesn't have the agitator in it and some of the issues I find is that the clothes coming out are always wrinkled, and with my kids clothes, they are tangled and knotted together. The lid isn't a tight seal around it, and I find after every wash there is condensation on the controls panel and find myself throwing a rag in the area to keep it off the controls. It has various features on it that I'm still trying to figure out, but a little disappointed with how wrinkled these clothes are.

Simple to use but with many features, I like to use just "Spin Cycle" very useful. Easy to read and understand digital display. Very quiet even at high spin.

This washer is just mehh. Builds Mildew and Mold VERY quickly and yes, I always leave the lid open when not in use, as well as use "Clean mode" often. Samsung customer service leaves much to be desired. The only advice they could offer was to use bleach. The drum of the washer is very large so if you are like me (short!) you will need a small step stool to get smaller items such as socks and undergarments left at the bottom. I would also warn against washing large loads unless you have an equally large dryer and it could handle the weight of the wet clothes.

1st time with no agitator top load

Absolutely love the extra capacity without the agitator taking up room for clothing. We have had front loads for awhile but found that we were always repairing them and they were always swallowing up small clothing, and water always stood in the bottom leading to smell and alot of maintenance cleaning. So far the negatives of this washer would be that heavy loads (including hoodies which our family is obsessed) do not even get fully penetrated with water/cleaning. Additionally, sometimes the clothing gets really wound up which so far has not damaged anything but could be forseeable.

First of all the drum is deep and when you wash a heavy load it takes over an hour to wash and it doesn't spin out the water completely so you have to keep going back and put it on spin cycle only, my biggest fear is the moisture that comes from the hot water out of the lid to the control panels on top that this is going to cause the washer to breakdown soon, I had the Samsung guy at our house to look at it and he said that we had our hot water too high, I've never had this problem with any other washer before, I am retired and I've owned several washers and dryers and I cannot afford the keep buying new ones. I thought I had 30 days to return it but found out that was only two weeks so I am stuck with it.

Only thing I can really find at fault is the depth of the drum. If you are short ( 5'3 " or under) you won't be able to reach clothing, socks etc from the bottom. I bought a thing to help me get stuff out. And if a coin or something small gets left behind after wash....good luck.

This washer has a capability of doing two loads into one compared to my old washing machine. It adjusts the water usage for each load which saves on water usage; and if you want a different wash temp and time, that can be easily set.

We were looking to get a new washer that was HE, but not a front loader. The appliance services were excellent: knowledgeable, proactive, helpful sales attendant. She helped us find a machine that was bigger and better than we found at Home Depot, and a bigger bang for the buck!!!!

The capacity of this washer is huge. The washer is deep. One drawback is I’m short and have to use a step stool to reach clothes at the bottom! But I knew that when I purchased it. Works well and has several different wash modes.
