It only has the ability to scan a code with your phone when there is something wrong. Exchanged for a different model but seemed to work really well.

It does a good job washing. If you are a short person it may be a little difficult reaching down in the machine to get your clothes out.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It's a little bit deeper than I expected (I'm only a bit over 5' tall and I need a stool to get the clothes out of washer) The one thing I really love about this is that it's top load - if something goes wrong you can open and fix it unlike our old front loader. We got this as an open box/scratch & dent but since it's in my basement I didn't care and it works great!!! Julie

The only downside to this model is that if the user is shorter than average, it can be difficult to reach the bottom to get clothes out. I am 5'3" and have to stand on my tiptoes and really stretch to get clothes out.
