We replaced a not so old LG washer that started rusting near the bleach tray. Seems to be an issue with that washer according to online forums. We decided to switch to Samsung. I’m glad we did. Until you get something new you don’t realize the shortcomings of your previous washer. The tub is extra large. Able to do bedding with no problem at all. Our clothes feel so much better.

I like the idea of this washing machine and the size is massive. 5.0 cu ft is much bigger when the drum doesn't have the middle pole thingy as this is wide open drum design. All loads seem small lol But if a towel gets an air pocket, it can remain for much of the wash thus missing water/soap completely in that one spot. Yes, I stood there and watched the entire cycle. Now I make sure I push all of the clothes down to the bottom and start to try to eliminate air pockets. Also there's a button called Smart on this thing but it is not smart washer so don't be fooled. as far as getting my clothes clean, it does just what I expected and they come out well... Clean. Also the lid is not flat it is angled downward. probably so no one puts anything heavy on the glass lid but I used to use it for light items on my old one all the time and now that's not an option as they roll off. I love the soft clothing lid however! If you are a shorter person as my good friend and also as my mother (both are around 5 foot) They would not be able to get clothes out of this washer without a step stool. And I DO NOT have the storage base underneath. I'm 6'1" and I have to lean on the unit and bend deep down to grab clothes on the bottom. If you're shorter than me, I'd recommend the 3.5 cu ft version or another product. Also where you put the soap and fabric softener doesn't quite come out far enough so occasionally some of the soap misses and pours directly into the drum. But not a big deal.

Amazingly huge washer for our big family! I love that is doesn't have a center pole. Also it's so quiet!

I've only had this washer for a month but I love it. I upgraded from an older model different brand and this one is amazing. It's digital so it gives a time for your load according to cycles,how many rinses and spins. The top is see through so I love that and it plays a song when your load is finished. All my clothes come out amazing and I even got out an old stain on a garment that didnt come out in my old washer. I'm loving it so far!

I love how much you can fit in there!!! I can do less loads of laundry because so much fits in there. Works great!!

Nice size large capacity washes well even though the water seems not to fill enough for a large load. I would recommend keeping your items to a slightly smaller than large amounts. The only down I have (though I've heard that other new brands have this problem as well) is the time it takes to do a load as compared with my old machine.

Big capacity and easy to operate but very noisy , The selection of different drying settings is good.

I fell in love with this washer from the minute I installed it. It's very easy to use. I love the ActiveJet water feature. I use the quick wash alot and add the deep fill feature. I don't have to wait forever for a load to wash. I Wish I could get the matching dryer. But my previous dryer still runs like a champ. This washer was a great buy!!

Not a thing about it I don’t like. I didn’t want a front loader. I had heard buy a Speed Queen and not a Samsung but when I did the research it appeared they have flopped in recent models and I really liked the Samsung from my research. And it’s even better in person. The tub is huge quick and easy to load. Clothes come out clean and they come out well spun so they don’t take much time to dry! So much better than my old washing machine! I want the matching dryer soon!
