this washer was a decent washer and had good abilities for about 3 years when it decided to stop working properly.

Had since 2019. Getting off balance after 4 yrs. Got springs replaced. Worked for a bit more now getting off balance again. Loved the washer until this point. Worked will and got clothes pretty clean.

Wonderful efficient machine. This machine holds a lot of jeans and other bulky items in one load instead of two like my smaller machine. Another bonus is using Best Buy! They delivered on time, set up, took old washer away and explained everything about washer and answered all our questions. I buy all appliances and tech. Items from only this Springfield, Oregon store! They are the best! Thank you Best Buy for all the great deals!

I have been disappointed in most appliances so I’ll give this an “ok” to good for the price. Large capacity washer that will work great for large loads of everyday clothes or quick wash cycles of smaller loads. Note that my wife is 5ft tall and she has a hard time getting clothes out of the bottom of the washer. If you are buying this for the advanced features, like washing a king or queen comforter, this isn’t the model. It also doesn’t have wifi or Bluetooth. In addition to not handling large comforters it doesn’t handle blankets, large towels or throw pillows well and never has even though it says it should. Consistently showing an unbalanced load error and makes a loud banging noise when trying to rinse and spin those type of loads. I just called for service on the unit after 40 months because the Unbalanced Load error is now occurring on any loads, including clothes, but 3+ years without needing service isn’t bad based on previous experiences with LG, Kitchen aid, etc. The issues is likely the 4 rods that hold the drum unit. You Tube videos show an easy repair for when those wear out causing the unbalanced load error. The unit also doesn’t drain well if you are washing anything with a lot of dog hair but I don’t blame that on the washer.

Great washer for the price! Ease of use, and I love the super speed feature.

I love my washing machine. I love the large capacity and being able to wash more clothes in one cycle.

This Samsung washer is excellent, some of the highlights include the high quality of wash and excellent selection of features, it's always a joy to hear the nice Samsung music telling you when the load is done, definitely going to continue buying more Samsung products!

Its a great washing machine, my entire family loves it. Its super big i can do two loads at one time. Or should I say that I can put in a little more than my old washing machine. We love !!!!!!!

The washer works like a charm been 3yrs still loving it.

I purchased this washer in 2021 and have had zero problems with it…aside from needing a stool to reach the bottom on the drum for that last sock that refuses to unstick. For those with long arms, or unsticky socks, it’s perfect!

This washer lasted almost exactly 3 years. Then it stopped spinning/ rinsing. The $60 a visit repair person said it needed a new control board and that would be a $350 fix. We decided to just buy a new washer instead of repairing this one. So beware of this 5.0 Samsung top load Washer dying relatively soon.. Otherwise, I really loved all the features and the work it did as a washer prior to breaking. The black color was gorgeous as well. One thing that I tested at the start and found out - is that all regular non heavy duty clothes needed to be set to COLD. Not Cool, definitely not warm/hot, but COLD. Otherwise the 3 times I tried with "Cool" - they all shrank significantly. I kept the same Delicate Dryer cycle for all these clothes when I was trying them on Cold/Cool Washer tests, so the shrinking had nothing to do with the Dryer to my knowledge. Just an fyi for anyone who might find this useful.

I have had this unit for less then 5 years and it has been a subpar unit. The impeller is not effective in cleaning clothes effectively regardless of which cycle selected. The most recent problem is the clothes getting out of balance. It has gotten so bad that the cycle will not completed and the cycle will stop with a UR error code which means it is out of balance. Looked online for a solution and tried everything from re-balancing the load to recalibrating the unit. This unit is not worth repairing because it wasn't also effective in cleaning. This is the 2nd Samsung washer I have purchased and I also had problems with my other unit which was a top of the line front loader. I thought buying a top loader would be be better, but I was wrong.

The best washer I have ever had! You can fit a large amount of laundry and it still washed everything cleaned!

Quite possibly the worst washer I have ever had. Yes, I have had it for 3 years now. It washes fine. The problem is the spin cycle. EVERY load becomes unbalanced. The machine automatically adds water and agitates it, then starts the spin cycle again. Only to become unbalanced again, and start the process all over again, 2 more times! A total waste of water, electricity and time. I have to remove half the load, sort out the clothes and start it on "spin cycle" to finish half the load. Then add the other half and hope it does not become UB again. This 17 minute cycle has lasted over 30 minutes with the constant re-shuffling clothes. Very annoying. My 56 minute cycle has been 2 hours many times.
