Good luck with spin cyle

All of our other appliances are Samsung so I didnt hesitate at all. But after 2 1/2 years of using the washer it is nothing but a hassle with pretty much every load. Constant UR and UB error codes that cause the washer to fill, attempt to spin, bang around, empty the water, try to spin again, and bang around again. The size of the load doesn't seem to matter, large load or small load it causes it to bang around violently and the basin slams into the sides of the washer. At times it also bounces up and will hit the top edges. Reading online I have attempted all of the "troubleshooting" to try to avoid the error codes but nothing seems to help. Today while attempting to wash 7 towels it took 6 hours of fighting to finally end the cycle. At this point it is out of warranty and the return period so we are stuck with it.

Our Samsung dryer broke the first year and our washer springs for larger loads have broken twice. I highly recommend going with a brand like Whirlpool

Just keeps cycling, running water, and getting stuck in the spin cycle. Also makes a loud noise when spins, would not recommend this washing machine to anyone. We had our Maytag for 10+ years.

After doing research it very well needs suspension rods. Im used to washers lasting more than 3 years i guess thats the way it is now?

Update- 2 years & 3 mos later- Uneven load issue

The machine is not under warranty anymore, (of course- by design), and will cost over $450 to fix. (Just wait- You'll see). The reviews here must be "new ownership", rather than "long-term". We will never buy another Samsung appliance again. They look sharp but aren't long-lasting. So after only 2yrs & 3mos, it only makes sense to buy a new machine rather then repair. What a waste of $$. Goodbye Samsung, hello Speed Queen.

will never purchase from best buy again

She has been making the payments on time every month and paid more than what was due each month. Last month we owed only 700 more dollars and they tacked on 630 dollars in interest. Was told there would be interest after 18 months but to add on 630 dollars when it was paid down to 700 is absolutely ridiculous , once its paid off I will deactivate my card and never buy anything from them again. I should have used my gut instinct and bought from Lowes. I will make sure all family and friend's know how they treat their customers and when called customer service was horrible and they could hardly even speak English and were incredibly rude.

It was delivered and installed during the first week of March. On September 25, the washer no longer spins clothes to remove excess water. WIth 9 minutes remaining in the cycle, the countdown timer resets to 26 minutes and the tank is filled again with water, until the water half-fills the basket. After multiple calls to Samsung and over an hour on the phone, I finally get a service appointment. This was a very expensive machine. I am big-time disappointed in the longevity of the machine and in Best Buy for recommending it. If this problem is not quickly, expertly, permanently resolved, I will buy a new washer - from someone other than Best Buy!
