Of course it decides to completely die in the beginning of the SIP. After several weeks, we found out that we could not only order a new washer, but have it delivered/installed/old one taken away. I've had experiences with top loaders and decided to go this way. It's really easy to use, I love all the settings and it seems to use less water and doesn't get funky the way our front loader did.

The LG rusted and for that reason only, had to replace it.

Wanted this top load for its size, access and features. It has not disappointed. These types of washers do make a unique sound when washing due to the method by which they clean, but it certainly is not extremely loud or bothersome like some have reported. Hoping this washer lasts longer than our last. So far, I would recommend.
