I was nervous about getting it because I was not familiar with Samsung. I knew that it didn't have that little thing in the middle; not sure what it's called, but not having it allows your to put more in the machine. I like that my clothes get clean. If they are still wet I can use a separate setting to spin them again. I like that it has a little song that tells you that the clothes are finished washing. I really think this is a great machine.

It is MUCH bigger than I was expecting and yet when I put a full load in, after it is done rinsing and spinning, the volume appears to be cut in half. Coming from a front-loader back to a top-loader, I am really pleased with this washer. Lots of options and cycles. I do notice for the first time that while it's running, the water pressure in my house is slightly less so if this would be an issue for a full household, you might consider the front loader.

However, after having our other one for almost three years and the fact the Samsung was doing a voluntary recall on our washer model with a $445 reimbursement if we purchased another Samsung product, we decided to give it another chance. This washer seems to work a lot better than our previous one did even right out of the box. So far our experience has been a positive one and it is able to handle our large family size.

This is the first top-loading washer I bought from Samsung (always used the front-loading) and no doubt I like it much better because it is bigger inside so I can wash more clothes or beddings if I want to. Moreover, it washes really clean with a lot more functions for me to chose from. I know also top-loading is more durable than front-loading. I also purchase 5 years Plan Protection so it will worth the investment.

The unit is Top Loading and a high efficiency unit. We love the see through top which opens and closes effortlessly. Controls are laid out very well and selection is comprehensive. Installation was a breeze. Best Buy has it ready in less than 2 hrs to haul away. Very happy with the purchase at this point.
