It allows you set temperature for your liking, if you want extra rinse or more spins ( it allows it). It doesn't take long to wash your clothes, yet if you need more wash time you can set it. The only negative I have to say is I'm 5'5 and have to stand on my tippy toes to get the clothes from the bottom of washer, it someone is shorter, you will need a step stool. But, one will not be disappointed purchasing this washer.
